Keep and eye out for me, please!
The dealer I'm going through for the Machine Gray SRT-6 is playing games, reneging on trade-in prices etc. If you guys know of any SRT model in the New England area for sale with < 25,000 miles please let me know.
sorry to hear that ... the dealer games are sooo frustrating.
i would look to autotrader.com, etc... in attempt to deal with a private party.
i hope all works out in the srt arena.

Basically, the dealer offered me $11,500 for my trade and I didn't agree. I came back today planning to sign the papers based on the $11,500 and he said "I can't do that price, sorry. Gas prices are too high for that SUV." Then, after bringing in comparable models that are for sale on the boards and on autotrader he states "Well, why are you here?". I lost it!
My dad has past relations with the owner and is going to see if he can work anything out on Monday. We've bought many cars through this said dealership. On the way out I asked "What's wrong with the Sales Manage"r to a salesman that has been at the dealership for 31 years. His response was "(shakes his head) He has got an attitude (looks down) I know you guys bought a lot of cars here, the owner will be in on Monday". So at least there is a small chance of hope left.

I'm going to give them their chance to make the deal right, I know the owner is a respectful individual. Depending on what they say I'll then spread the word
.
Thanks FP. Blue isn't my preference but I'll have to contact them if it doesn't sell. I haven't sold my vehicle outright yet.

Here are two this one in MA.http://autotrader.autos.msn.com/fyc/...ce=&cardist=31 and this one in CT. http://autotrader.autos.msn.com/fyc/...ce=&cardist=89
May be worth the trip if the price is right. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrys...QQcmdZViewItem
Be sure to check the inservice date may be out of warranty already if it wasn't an inventory reduction car. Lots of miles to be one of those. If your buying a warranty get a quote from todk64, and either save some money or get a realistic price that the dealer should be charging you for it. Good luck. Also as Blacksrt6 said, a trip is worth the difference in mileage and warranty.
What about this Graphite Coupe w/5,600mi @ $21,900 OBO?
It may be worth the trip? (the Ship?)

Thanks a lot guys! The dealership did not come through on the price
.
We talked to the owner who seemed very considerate and understand, he was going to look into the issue (complaints about sales manager) and give us a call back at the end of the day. Rather than taking the time himself, he had a salesmen call us back emphasizing a "final offer" that wasn't what they claimed for the trade in value. It unfortunate, but there are people out there worrying about much worse things than a nice new car. The SRT in Maine posted above is a much better deal, so hopefully the time will come.
Anyway, I need to sell my Jeep outright. It's going to be for sale much under blue book w/ factory warranty
. Did I mention it's a great DD with heated leather and navigation?!?
