Halo / Angel Eye Headlamps
I would like to install a Halo / Angel Eye headlamp kit on my Roadster Limited. Does anyone know if the lens cover on our headlamps can be removed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes this is true, but was looking for a little more. Would like to have then wired into the driving light system for a little subtle bling, maybe blue neon or LED.
Not legal to have more than 4 lights active at one time.
You will note that on all cars if your running with your fog lamp on, when you switch from low beam to high beam, the fog lamps go off.

The law is mostly that you can only have 4 lights on at one time that produce greater than 300 candlepower, so if the halo or angel eye doesn't throw out 300 candlepower, then you should be fine.
It is possible to adjust the lights so when high beams come on, the fogs stay on too? I never liked that "feature" and I didn't vote that law in so I don't see a reason to acknowledge it. Just gotta remember not to flash a cop as I have a tendency to drive by cops with my high beams on at night when they sit hiding in the dark with their lights off. The moment I spot them, even if its 100 feet away, on go the high beams.
"Sorry officer, I saw something and I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to hit it".
Oh, since I am on the subject of cops...if you all ever see one hiding, turn your hazards on. Especially if they see it...I've done that to warn other drivers of a trap. It'd be cool to start a trend of giving away traffic cops locations...

As I understand it, when you are using "Fog Lamps" it is contradictory to have your high beams on.
You are, after all, trying to improve your vision in less than ideal conditions, not have "All Lights Burnin' " for attention.
At least this is how it is explained in a number of owners manuals.

I didn't know they were available for the Xfire.
