Can you believe this code 3 is a real car part !
Oh come on this is silly. I got my code 3 pulley and unwrapped it, only to find the object in the following photos. I have twisted a few wrenches and even had a success along the way now and then, so I would consider myself to know a little about car parts, I thought.
As I examined this component I realized that Code 3 is running a racket and I wanted to be the first to expose it for what it is. ART THEFT.
Thats right they are exporting these pulleys as "CAR PARTS", I believe this is their way of getting past customs or avoiding the taxes for creating ART TREASURES in an unassuming cardboard carton labeled "car parts."
Closely look at the photographs and see for yourselves, these pulleys are beautiful works of art and to put one on the car even one as well crafted as the Crossfire should get you 2 - 4 years for hiding rare works of art in eleven states and one U.S territory. The finish is soo good that you know the part was better suited for a display case than under a hood.
I really was taken back by the metal work and finish of the pulley grooves and body. Were talking one finely designed part.
ITS EYE CANDY BABY! I can hardly wait to get it on and tested out, just gotta figure out if I can leave the hood in the garage till the rush of seeing it wears off a bit.
Enjoy, Woody

One that looks just like that came stock from the factory with my SRT6!!
Do you have a set of calipers? Can you measure your stock pulley and the Code 3 pulley?
Thanks Woody!

for the others that posted, there is a HUGE thread on this site about this supercharger pulley, i do not know how you guys could have overlooked it.

I'm still waiting for a definitive answer on this pulley in use with the 178 crank pulley. If someone would post some dyno numbers and can say it's "safe", then im going to get one...
That must be one of the "redesigned" units. I sure doesn't look like the
one I got. Where are the grooves that were perpendicular to the belt
grooves? Also, it looks like the belt grooves are smaller than those on
the original Code3 pulley. Can you put a caliper on that baby and let me
know if it comes in at around 65mm?

I got back, the pulley is 65.3 mm diameter and at the high point of the sheves on the pulley. That is about 2.57 inches and the Root of the sheve is coming in about 2.44 or 62.8 but that is probably not necessary info, Ill measure the stocker when I replace it this weekend, FYI.

the Code3 pulley I got from the first batch, I got a reading of about 65.08
on the outer diameter. Maybe you should put yours on a lathe and trim
it down
. Hmm, maybe I shouldn't suggest that. Just might find myselflooking at a picture of the Code3 pulley sitting next to a wheel grinder.
Keep up the good work, sir. You've developed quite a following.
