OUCH DO NOT DO THIS PLEASE, go get a gently used one and put the money in performance upgrades. Worst part demo means I like that car I am going to use it for the month and beat the hell out of it, or listed as demo but really an SRT track expirence car NOT GOOD

Go in and offer them $22k for it and tell them it's an old unwanted car that's been decaying on their lot for years..............just to mess with them.
Where was this brand new one with 500 miles? Is it in Missouri? If not, there's a blue one at a dealership around here that's listed for the same price. The guys at the dealership are JERKS! They promised they would be willing to deal on the phone, but weren't willing to talk exact numbers, so I drove an hour out there and they completely wasted my time. Told the manager off and then left. Found my new one, with about the same number of miles, a few days later and got half off sticker. Deals are out there, you just have to look around!

I say do what you wish.
I loved my 2004 Limited Crossfire but I dropped 29,000.to get my SRT less than a year ago, and though I know I could have gotten one cheaper if I had shopped I have never felt I made the wrong choice. This SRT is with me for life.

Based on prices I've seen for other SRT-6's, that is rather high. However,
I personally think the car is worth $39k, if they were all still priced at that
point. If you can get one with more miles for less money, then I would
probably go that route. On the other hand, at the mileage listed, you
would have a lot of warrant left, and you could always take it to an
independant Mercedes diagnostic tech for a pre-purchase review. Even
if this was an SRT experience car, at those miles it can't be much more
abused than mine was at similar miles, and mine is still running strong
after nearly 4 years of constant hard driving.
Good luck with whatever direction you go on this.

I bought my srt6 a year ago, it had 56 miles on it. Paid 24,600 for it. I think these are terrific cars but I would dicker with the dearlership and get them to lower the price. I see less and less of these cars for sale now then I did a year ago. So they may be holding out. Good luck but whatever you buy it for you will never regret it.

Shop around. Check Autotrader, eBay Motors, Craigslist. You can get a low mileage SRT-6 for slightly more than 1/2 of what they are asking.
Great car, though. If you get one I can pretty much guarantee you'll love it.

I bought mine w/1300 miles for $24500 back in Oct '07.
Bought mine last October, 9900 on the ole odometer for 19,900.
If you look around & are willing to travel you'll be good to go for a heckuva lot less money.

I'm still a little bitter about what i paid for mine(compared to most), though I know in my heart at the time I thought it was a good price!! I rolled out of dealer with mine for $24,900 and it had 37k miles. This was back in March of '07. I just wish i would have waited just a few more months......... ::sigh::

better, I promise. One can always play the, "I wish I had waited" game, but
that is nothing but Monday morning quarterbacking. I bought mine in
October of '04 and paid just over $40k. Now do you feel better? I could
have waited, too, and maybe got a cheaper price, but I think I collected
the difference through driving the car that much longer.
Now go out an conquer! Get in that car and go forth, tear up the road
and enjoy yourself. You got a great bargain.

Here's another piece of info to put with the stats. The previous owner paid 31k two years ago for the SRT6 roadster I currently own. At the time of the previous owner's purchase, the car had 150 miles.
As many have said, look around... best time to shop is when u have time on your side.
Good luck hunting!
