Default Rotex are gold!

Add me to the list of satisfied Rotex gold owners. After that last thread, I was afraid I made the wrong choice. But I'm happy to report that after 1 week of driving, I don't see any dust yet and I don't hear any squeeking. It's great. Of course, the brake installer thought I was pretty odd throwing away the original barely used set with only 15,000 miles and he said he didn't need to cut the rotors because they were still fine.

Those original pads SUCK !!!
Soot aways on the wheels.
They were in the garbage with 18,000 miles.
Never gonna use them again anyway.
Go with the Golds and never look back.

I love my Rotex pads, they have been on the car since about 800 mile's. The only time I've had any dust build up was when I took it to the US 41 Track event on May 17th. But I guess that't's to be expected making 34 runs up to 120 MPH then standing on the brakes at the end of the track to get to get slowed down to turn into one of turn of off lanes .

Same here as far as the track that day.
22 runs @ 100mph and a lot of braking.
The only time I developed dust.
Had mine on for 12000 miles now. Love em !!!

PS ..got a few video's in my sig with Steve. He kicked my a$s with that SRT6
