185 vs 178 debate
Wow that is scary, maybe try changing the fluid and if you are lucky that will help. My old car would slip when the transmission fluid was dirty (30,000 miles old) and when I would change the fluid it would shift perfectly again.

I am also sure that I saw someone here has put 285/35's on stock 19 inch wheels. The tire shop didnt enjoy it but they got them on and he was happy. I am debating the 275 vs 285 for when I need to replace mine.

Keep me in mind for that fall Maryland pulley shoot out. I've got a Code3 pulley, and should have the bugs worked out by then.
(No bugs with the pulley - I think I've got a MAF issue)
MikeR:
Try a few runs with the TC off. After you learn to launch without a total burn out, you'll be amazed how much time you can trim off of your ET's by not using the TC.

Hoosiers will hold the track the best. No need to turn the TC off with these. You won't lose traction even with a small burnout. These are drag radials not slicks, just to be clear. Just the best DR you can get in my opinion. M/T tire, and Mickey Thompson may argue that.

You are definitely invited to get spanked too.
