Doc, I would love to have you go with me to NH. But I have a better offer. Cathy and I are going to CT for Christmas. Brazilian is a few hours away. She and I could drive up and then race each other home to St Louis.

I'm working on her. Flowers, fresh coffee, every honey-Do she comes up with. I'm getting abused a bit but it may just work.

If it doesn't, she is going to owe me,........ big.

Can't make any promises today. She is a little annoyed, OK maybe a lot annoyed. Last night she was making plans for the garage where she planned to park her new XFire. Today, common sense is winning.

And I'm losing the argument.

At least I don't have to clean the garage out for a while.

Come on Franc, man up. Buy the car and surprise her by having it waiting for her at the Christmas destination! She'll fall in love with you all over again.

Easy for you to say. You live in Texas.

I can guarrantee New England will have the coldest Christmas on record if I pulled that stunt.

Cool idea though!

please don't miss a good deal on my account. There will be other SRT's and Cathy could fall for a Aero blue one again.

It's been rumored that some women are fickle.
Didn't hear that from me though.

Gawd, Now you got me thinking... Tisk Tisk Tisk. All I need is another car that I cannot drive up my steep driveway. Would you store it for free until the spring and meet me halfways from MN?

If a dealer gives you equal money then you have to factor the credit for sales tax you are saving. You only pay sales tax on the difference of the trade and purchase. At least in AZ.

I'm trying to talk my boyfriend into this, it's as much as I paid for my limited coupe with 32k miles.. I want him to buy it so I can sell my XF, then buy the SRT from him for 15k. I'll let you know how that goes, plan would be fly to NH drive back to CA.. oh god that sounds horrible.. and it snows in those areas too.. ugh.. maybe we'll trailer it or something.. idk. nothing definate though..

But 17k... seriously people!? how is this still available?!?

You and your BF will be fine driving back. Better than trailering. I can't imagine towing an SRT when I could be driving it.
PA will be awesome, even on the interstate. Stop in St Louis overnite as our guest.
You would be quite welcome. And Cathy could see the car she let get away.

All is fair in love and war, and this is love. I would LOVE for my wife to own an SRT Xfire.

Up to now the fresh flowers and morning coffee hasn't quite been enough.

Perhaps I should try finding a sapphire srt.

I just hope she doesn't make me put a "pink" Mary Kay Stripe on it.
