Looks good; a cam swap looks like it would be pretty easy.

What are you doing there; rebuild or research?

Holycrap these motors are built like tanks, how thick are those cyclinder walls? I always heard AMG overbuilt thier motors and transmisions.

Yeah after tearing apart my Mustang GT and hating all the stress involved, and rough driving aftermath, I never plan to see my crossfire in that shape!

Therefore thanks for snapping those pics for us.

On picture number two, I see a header flange bolted up. Doing a little test fitting, eh?

Nice i know someone posted that they picked up 30 hp on the dyno after doing some of thier own porting.

It's always nice to see pictures of any engine. Technical repair manuals can only go so far. Thanks for the pics and let us know what you find with the headers and port matching on the heads.
