What year was the srt6 first released and anybody have a link to the details about the dispute between chrysler and mercedez about the car?

 

man, do you have a lot of catching up to do...just read thru the threads...they made SRTs in '05 and just a very few in '06...Mercedes still owns about 19% of Chrysler's shares, but that may end soon...there isn't any dispute about the cars, Chrysler still warrantys them...it is a Chrysler...but like any car that is discontinued, parts, expertise, mechanics start to dry up....so there are issues...

 

yeah i know i just wanted to get a little information about them, i thought i heard there was an argument between mercedez and chrylser about the car or somthing like that thats why i was trying to figure out

 

not really, people have problems getting things fixed because Chrysler doesn't always haved trained techs at the dealerships to work on them (being Mercedes). Mercedes dealerships don't want to work on them because they are Chryslers...if that is what you are talking about...that will always be the case...just have to find the right dealerships w/ trained XF mechs....
