Hey MikeR, I bought the OT-1 OBDII reader. I also bought the LC-1 and the XD-16, but haven't had those installed yet. I love the logworks software that comes with it. Its very user friendly and if I knew what I was looking at I'm sure there is a tone handy info. Right now I'm just logging boost,IAT,timing, load, throttle, coolant temp, and rpm. I can log up to 16 channels using the OT-1. I was going to go with the DL-32, but didn't want to have to run all those sensors all over the place. I figure with the OT-1 OBDII,LC-1 wideband, and the XD-16 multi gauge, that should be enough.

Blue,
I mis-read your other post. I thought you said Innova. I just tried a run with log on the Innova 3100. It dosent make much sense to me. I will have to play with it more and see if it really works. It only captures 20 frames of data in a 3 second window. Primarily setup to trigger on a DTC so you can see what happened before and afte the error.
I am interested in finding a good data logging tool to use though. What is the url for Innovate? Is it a stand alone or PC based?

They have all types of stuff for logging data. The OT-1 I have is computer based, but they have different kinds also.

Blue,
It isnt clear on their page. I presume that it hooks up to the ODBII port and lets you monitor all the data being recorded? Is there a max recording time limit? I also presume that you can plug your PC in and run it straight to the PC while logging for real time viewing? It is pretty reasonably priced.

The OT-1 doesn't log in an internal memory. You hook your pc up to it and log (atleast from experience so far) as long as you want. It shows the data in real time on computerized gauges on your pc screen or in a line graph thing with all the different channels with different colors(cant explain it correctly). Theres other ways to disply, just havent messed with it enough. Its pretty cool IMO. Its upgradable with their other products and at 150.00 its not too bad in price. I think the advantage of this OBDII over the others is the logworks software it comes with.

I am shopping for an OBDII reader and was planning on getting Autoenguinity's.

Looking at this product it looks pretty nice and is less money. I have read a little on their website but would like to hear more from those that have it.

What format are the logs stored in? Can you truly get 12 samples a second on 16 channels?

How about posting some screen captures of your logs so we can get an idea of what everything looks like.

I've used the LC-1 to tune turbo hondas and it works grrreeat!!! I love the computer interface and configuring it for different fuel types is easy.

Not the cheapest wideband solution, but it is very well made.

Hold off on buying the OT-1. I am currently trying to get a few things sorted with it. It says its just plug and play, but its not. Some readings are way off on it. I'll be just idling and my rpms will be reading like 5000 or something crazy. Some of the readings seem right on, but some like rpms are way off. I'm trying to get in contact with Innovate to see what might be up, stay tuned.

Thanks for the heads up. I noticed my favorite speed shop carries their products and I was going to go out and purchase one tomorrow.

Keep us posted. Looks like a nice product and it would be nice to be able to plug the wideband into the OT1 and logging everything together.

Thats exactly what I was planning on doing. I have an LC-1 and an XD-16 too, just haven't had it installed yet. I'm hoping I can get this OT-1 to work right first.

No luck getting the OT-1 to work correctly so I decided to return it and get something else. I decided on the Auterra 302. I bought the OT-1 from tunnertools and they made it easy to trade for something that should work. Their customer support was very helpful and super prompt. They really made it hassle free returning the OT-1. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an OBDII reader/datalogger. I can't say enough good things about my experience with them. I was kind of shocked at how fast and how attentive they were to my situation. Anyway, this is their site if anybodys interested http://www.tunertools.com/ .

Wish I that OT-1 would have worked correctly because the software that came with it was awesome. I'll update on how well the Auterra 302 works.

Any particular reason you selected this OBD-II product over the other ones available?

The Auterra was one that the guy from tunertools suggested. I'll let you know how it works once it comes in.
