I was wondering the same thing as I shopped around for an exhaust system. I never heard the borla on a crossfire....Im keeping it a secret, but I am doing a custom 3 inch catback exhaust with a muffler that I don't believe (to my knowledge) anyone has. I have an appointment with the shop for the 27th of this month so stay tuned!

a buddy of mine has a GS300 with a borla exhaust, and it sounds SO CLEAN! absolutely no raspiness. that's what i'm looking for. his GS sounds like a big crotch-rocket. i'm nervous to do an exhaust because i do not want that gross raspy sound i here on a lot of 4-cylinders and 6-cylinders. i'm used to the beautiful sound of a V8 in my last 3 cars...

I just ordered Borla tips(through summit) and sent them back as soon as they arrived. They were complete **** and i will never order anything from borla again. I asked Borla about the dimensions twice(2 different reps) to make sure these would work for my application, and they were NOT what was stated when they arrived.

I. Hate. Borla.

Thats pretty funny. I orderd my borla tips and think they look great! Was it just the size that was off or the quality of the tips?

I'm lucky - I like the factory SRT exhaust & tips (minus the resonator!!)

Healthy sound and provides plenty of HP..

I spoke to Borla and they have no interest in doing an exhaust of any kind for the SRT - market is not big enough.

the other video of the black one that has the before and after stock inside and out sounds the same as well. Not enough difference on video. I assume in person it sounds different.

Both. I was going to use dual intercooled square angled cut tips. It would have looked sweet. Except i as asked them multiple times in multiple ways " is there anywhere on the inside of the tip that is smaller than 2.5 inches?". They assured me no evertime. I get them in and the inside if the tip is between 2" and 2 1/4". Was i not speaking f'ing english. Maybe it was my Texas accent. Or maybe they are dipsh!ts. Im gonna go with "C". And im gonna call them today and let them know.

Oh im not done. The outer polished finish sucks and has fine scratches all over it. The inside of the intercooled fins has ugly visible welds, is NOT polished and even has green mold forming everywhere as if its been under sea with the Titanic for the better part of 100yrs.

I will never buy a Borla product for even my lawnmower. And dont get me started on Magnaflow, im calling them today too. Do i seriously have to build my own muffler to get some decent quality? I guess i just need to dumb myself down to the level of all their other "satisfied" customers. It would certainly help my blood pressure. Thanks for listening, this is gonna be a great day.

I have the resonator deleted from my Aero and it sound much better than the stock on the SSB. It is deeper and throatier. Especially as you rev it up and head down the road, or hit it while cruising. It was the first mod I did and I really like it. I didnt notice any power difference, but I would expect any change would be too small to feel. I would not pay a dyno fee just to see the change it might have made. I did it for the sound and flow improvement.

The green is probably residue from the polishing compound, the inside I'm sure will turn black in no time at all, it does totally suck about the fine scratches but no one will look as closely as we would our own car - I'd still ***** about the poor quality you received them in and would ***** until i got 1/2 my money back
