Default So long everyone

Guys,

Just wanted to thank everyone who has helped me on this board. You were a tremendous help when I was looking to buy a SRT and also when I drove the car. The car was truly one of the best I've ever owned and definitely the most fun.

Because of the economy pinch, I had to start consolidating my bills. I ended up trading in both my SRT-8 and SRT-6 for a fully loaded BMW 135i Coupe. I was able to save money on my monthly payments, insurance, personal property tax, gas, etc. I get the same small, quick car with all the amenities. Should be fun. Take care to all and good luck with your Crossfire.

This doesn't mean you can't check in from time to time. Take care and good luck with the bimmer.

~ haywood ... sorry to see you go but i can only imagine you will enjoy the small bmw packaged with an outstanding engine... i hope you opted for the sport pack to complete the looks... this was a different looking car in photographs until seeing it in person... it really starts to grow on you quickly... its proportions are not the norm but very cool indeed... any pics to share?

cheers & don't be a stranger...

sorry to see you get rid of the SRT. However, in the end, paying the bills takes precedence. Good luck with everything. Maybe in a year or two you can get back into another SRT. Thanks for all your input, you'll be missed.

Enjoy the Bimmer.

Adiós mi amigo. No permita que la puerta le abofetee en el asno a la salida.

Great choice. It's comforting to live within your means and to simplify your life at any time.

See it as you didn't lose a Crossfire, you gained a spare tire. (and not around your middle I hope)

Best of luck.

Thanks for the words everyone. Except you Brian. I know what that says and it's not very nice! I did get the sports package. I originally drove the 6 speed and it was a terror. But, after thinking about all the traffic I drive in No. VA, I decided that a stick would have gotten old real quick. I did get the paddle shifters on the wheel which is fun. I'll post pics this weekend. I actually don't have the car yet. It had to be shipped from another dealer. That's how hard it is to find any '08 135 coupes and 335 coupes.
