Gotta say one thing for coupegirl, .......she aimed low. Which is exactly what made her scam so puzzling.

Still, I'm glad I was one of, if not the first to call her out.

I think I might have been the only one to get a refund.

That 3 bucks caused me a lot of lost sleep.

I didn't know of this the only thing i can say is mike in orange has knowen me for 3 or so years on www.ptcrew.com where i have given stuff to people and also had auctions ,,and the winning bidder would send the money to the site adm, and i would ship the item shipping free to the person,, I did the free grille mod my first week on this site,, I have never ask for money i have bought some stuff from mutt oh i am giving people my real address and my cell so i guess i am not like coupegril. jim

I can assure you guys that Jim is no coupegirl. I've known him for 4 and a half years over on PTCrew.com and he's a stand up guy - 100%. If he says he's going to do something, he does it. He's been selling parts to the PT Cruiser community for years without issue. Good stuff at a fair price. Always.

 

man, so touchy...I think FP was just teasing....we have a lot of stand-up people on here...coupe girl had her problems, but I never thought hers to be a SCAM though, just got caught up in something she couldn't deliver on...then didn't know how to get out of it...

 

Not so much touchy as just letting folks know that a new guy here is also a good guy. You may not have thought the coupegirl "fiasco" was such a big deal, but plenty of others were really put off by her antics. Besides, you and I know FP better than Jim does, so you and I may have known he was teasing, but Jim probably didn't.
