It was a great event, and I want to thank everyone for sharing the day with us. We had some great racing, great food, and great weather. It turned out awesome.

We had 21 cars show up and 18 were in the bracket race. Chiromikey laid the law down with a Killer 11.38 on his first pass. The SL65 held its own and finally broke in the 11's with a 11.78. I managed a 12.12 but that's as close as I got. The weather was perfect for the 1st pass, but didn't get any closer. We had Tighe1, Pitchers Performance, and mine for SRT6's. New Crossfire with the black NA come on down from Tucson. I'm not sure if everyone was posting their personal best, but I think some did. The bracket race was a blast. The track had problems with the lights, so they asked if we would run on a pro tree. I told them let's go, and we all raced on a pro tree. Needless to say that evened the playing field quite a bit. All in all I enjoyed everyone's company and had a blast. Pics to follow after a good rest. I'm exhausted.

Thanks cruizinquick and crew. The coordination, food, setup, camaraderie, food, racing and food made for a memorable day!

Thanks to all that showed up to make it such a great day!

Thanks to the rice'ers that let me humiliate them in front of their crew!

The two extra runs I made when I had the pulleys stack I jumped into line with the test and tune folks. "Had" to run against ricer's each time. It was pathetic!
Even though I was spinning like crazy I was pulling them. Till I caught traction then they looked like they were parked on the track!

That's funny. I could have sworn that I had tire spinning problems that run.

Thanks for capturing the moment!

In a slightly modded E55 . It has the best mod available, the driver mod. Mikey can drive. He's in the pic with all 3 trophies on his windshield.

Jturkel, What happened in the first round? You dialed a 13.30 and ran a 13.102? Double breakout and were you checking out the chicks at the starting line? You would of had him if you used the 13.09 dial. Just messing with you. Glad you made it and brought friends. Sorry the dang bracket put you up against him in the first round.

yah, my car just got faster as the day went on. it was weird. i did the throttle reset and i didnt let it adapt quick enough to my accleration/shifting/driving style. so it underwent a learning curve and adapted as i drove and got a little faster and faster as it learned how i drive it (where i shift, how hard i accelerate). it didnt even occur to me at that point that my car would get a little faster, so i just kept it at 13.3 (my three runs were 13.4, 13.3, and 13.2).

i also was not lightin' up the tires in the beginning as much easier.

no worries about that bracket. its all fun. brock and i enjoy our rivalry. we race weekly lol.

Your so welcome. I was so busy running around that I really didn't get a chance to talk with you guys. Your car looks sweet with those wheels. So that meat was killer huh? That's carne asada we make when I have parties at my house, and my wife makes the best rice on the planet. Thanks to my nephew and wife for getting the food ready for us.

I keep telling people on here it's all about the launch. Once you get used to your car, it's on. You can be consistent and deadly. It sure takes a long time to get that feeling though. If I don't race in a few weeks, I loose it for a second. I was going to do our own bracket putting the fastest against the fastest and so on, but the tower did our bracket on reaction times. Next time I'll do the bracket and make it easier for the first timers. Although in the semi's 3 of the 4 were first timers.

Hey cruzinquick are you going to post more pictures of the event?
I never had a chance to grab my camera so I use my new phone and I must have done something goofy cuz I don't have any pictures.

Anyone else have pictures of the event?

I have a couple hundred my wife and daughter took. I'll sort out the crossfire ones and resize to upload.
