It must be that there are large differences between the Canandian version of the car and yours.
[ I do understand that you have made a number of upgrades to your car but items such as the spedo are quite different]

Gerhard, I guess you do like leather. That looks excellent. I hope you dont let childern ride it that car much. Where did you get gauges that say KARMANN on them? Great job and welcome to the forum.

Willkommen!

Dein Innenraum ist wunderbar! Sehr einzigartige und beeindruckende. Wie viel Geld würden die Kosten für die Umstellung auf die schöne Spurweite?

Enjoy your stay

Yes, I have rebuilt the roof, because I needed space.

The steering wheel is a raid daytona, 340 mm with airbag. The airbag ist reworked with leather and allowed by german "TÜV"

See http://www.raid-rdi.com/

Leder schwarz glatt/perforiert, Alu-Hupentasten
Art.-Nr. 70139

The matching steering wheel adapter is: Mercedes Benz SLK R170

I really like what you have done. I'm over at Ramstein AB, I'm hoping for some good weather this next month and hit the Ring up one more time this year, I would love to see your car in person.

You could make a lot of money if you were to fabricate the leather up into kits for people to install themselves.

As much as we'd like to think so, it would probably be to cost prohibitive to do it more than one off. By no means saying people on the forum are cheap but i would venture to say that interior is a cool 3 grand or better. I know that would be the very last thing I would do to my car with 3 large but if I had that 3 grand a few times and didn't have anything better to do with it, yeah, it would get done!

Very nice car Daun, very nice indeed! I love the instrument panel the best. So clean. Great job and definitely near the top of my list of favorite crossfires.
