I am so pissed...
I got home today and there was a package at my back door from MB in Floriday. Yippppeeeee! I open it and think...the box is a little big...WTF...
The part is NOT the gasket but the back end of the SC that the gasket goes on! I took the exploded diagram and the broke part to the local MB parts department and showed it to them and where it goes and they took the part number I gave them and didnt say anything about it not being the part I was holding in my hand. Just looked it up and told me who had one.
Now I have a part, soon to be two, that I dont need and still dont have the right part number or part to fix my car.

ImportLabSRT,
Here are links to show it and where it goes. I just found out on the MBworld forum that the C32 dosen't use this part. So it may looks like it is just a SLK32/SRT6 part. The line pipe on the back of the SRT6 SC is different than the C32 in that the holes are different places.

I have new 240 modified intakes plenums and I cant get to the track to try them. Our last track day in Portland is Saturday. crap!
Thanks for your help.

If I wasn't racing at 1320x this weekend I would send you mine. I really want to see you hit 11's. I race an old guy with a 60's ford pickup who is constantly telling me how good that track is in oregon. He lived there for many years and raced most of them.
Shouldnt be a problem, Ill check it out tomorrow when I get to work. Worst comes to worst I can fax you a parts explosion rom EPC but im 99% sure I know exactly where its located on EPC. Do me a favor, give me a call sometime tomorrow and Ill let you know over the phone.
ImportLabSRT, thanks very much. I will call you tomorrow.
Cruzin, you shamed me into it. I attacked my SSB and pulled the gasket off of it.
I think she feels violated.... I really didnt want to take the SSB apart to do this but I am down to the wire to get a track run in.
I quickly slapped it on to the Aero and started putting things back together. I got a set of the NW gaskets thanks to BrianBrave and Rob to put between the mani's and the 6mm phenolics. I had some trouble lining things up with all those moving parts so I took Rob's advice and got some Permatex and stuck the two spacers to either side of the phenolic. Then I stopped. The port holes on the gaskets were bigger than the ports on the phenolics. And they overlapped the outside of the phenolics. I didnt like the coverage I was getting of the gasket on the phenolics so I pulled them back off and cleaned up the spacer. You can see the outline of the phenolics on the gaskets. You can also see from the side shot how much overlap there was on the outside. It looked like there was about 60% or 70% coverage of gasket on the phenolic. The phenolics are almost exactly the size of the manifold ports. Porting for these will be a snap. Almost no metal to move.
I will go with the gaskets that came with the spacers and put the mani's on tomorrow. If everything works out, I might be able to make it to the track tomorrow night.

Yea, robbing peter to pay paul will give you a big smile this weekend. Must be nice having spare parts parked right next to you in the garage. I will anxiously be waiting by the computer for your record setting night. I hope after tomorrow I'm still the fastest SRT6 in the west. A 12.03 would be nice.

the Part-Nr. for the Gasket is 1121411380. Aprox. 3,-€...
Regards Bruno
EdiT : The Part-Nr. 1121411380 is Gasket 600 in the Supercharger Picture. If you need Gasket 630 this is Part-Nr. 3059970345, also 3€
Parts-Nr. are for SLK32 but should be the same for SRT-6

The above mentioned gasket is the only throttle body gasket available from benz and i have it in stock but its not what your looking for. That piece may only come with the $768 (my cost) throttle body. Have you tried Chrysler?
Someone is eventually going to have to start making these.
By the way, you can make your own gasket easily using the part you got (and don't need), a pencil, some gasket material, and an x-acto knife.

ImportLabSRT, Do you have a throttle body in stock that you can look at and see if the 'gasket' is part of it? I'll call you later.
Sonoronos, I cant make this gasket. It is two metal plates with rubber molded to it to make a link between the SC and the TB. See post #4 links for pics of the part. We all need this part number as that part is a weak link.

Okay, still no joy. I just got off the phone with MB dealer in Phoenix who has a throttle body in stock and the gasket/flang is NOT part of the throttle body. I will take the part to a Chrysler dealer and see if they can find it.
ImportLabSRT could not find the part on the SLK32 and the line pipe is the same between the SLK32 and the C32. So it would not need this part to rotate the mounting holes. They both mount square and use a paper gasket.
Still searching.....

I know this won't help your situation, but I don't think the rubber is really necessary. I would try and have the piece machined as a unit, and then gasket mount it. I think the rubber Y pipe on the intake will have more then enough movement under load. I don't see the need for a rubber coupler there unless I'm missing something. Goodluck.
Bulldogger, that is an option. I could just make the measurements and machine a spacer myself. I have some aluminum or delrin that would work. I'll start making a drawing and work that while I am looking. If I make it it will be much cheaper and it WONT break.
