Default We have identified the part!!!

All right folks, I just got off the phone with Timberline Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep and he found the part number for the gasket that goes between the SC and the throttle body. Here you go....drum roll.........

Air Flow sensor gasket
Chrysler PN: 5159305AA
MB PN: A1121412480
Cost: $6.85 ea

They have to order it, but the warehouse has 30 in stock. I bought TWO.

I got a note from MUTT with the Chrysler part number yesterday also. But he wasnt sure if that was the right one as he ordered 4 gaskets before he got the right one.

Happy. Happy. Happy.

That is great and thanks for posting up the info, I am sure some people will need that in the near future!

Let us know when you receive it so we can be sure it is the right part.

Glad you will have it fixed soon!

Actually, the Aero is fixed. I stole the part out of the SSB. But you are right, now I can put the SSB back together. I should have the part next week and I am pretty confident as he described the part to me, correctly. The Chrysler number also matches one that MUTT gave me and he had the same one go bad.

ImportLabSRT,
Can you look up part number 1121412480 and confirm that is looks like the part I posted? I wonder what MB car it is used on or why it dosent show up in the SLK32 Kompressor diagram.

$6.85 does seem really cheap for that part.

Ill look it up today and see if it shows anywhere.... I think Im going to order one too, to make sure.
~edit~ Part # not available from Benz. It must be a SRT-6 only part.

I havent got the call from Timberline to pick up the part yet. I am pretty confident it will be correct. When he was looking for the part and couldnt find it in the drawings he went and found a SRT6 and looked at it. Then he called me back and described the part correctly. I should have them sometime this week and I will let you all know.

The part is actually listed in the PDF Parts locator - only problem it is not pictured. But the part is listed as for the S/C engine only - so looks good so far.
