Re: LET website.......
It is made to fit the C32. But I think we could find a way to mount it in the Crossfire. Might have to make a bracket for it. We have more room to play with than the C32 guys.
Jerry, can you give us the dimensions for the tank and the top with the bracket included?

Re: LET website.......
yeah I read it won't work. Its possible they fabbed something up to make it work but I doubt it.
My biggest issue is the video clip of the reservoir with the lid off shows the watering boiling over inside. Does not seem like a good idea to put it so close to the engine like that because the aluminum will just heat the water more than being combined with the engine coolant under pressure could have done.

Re: LET website.......
It is not that the resrvoir will not work on the SRTnecessarily, it is that is was made specifically for the C32 so the mounting wont work the same way. Brians tank would be a simple swap old for new. If we knew what the dimensions of the C3 tank were we could see if it would fit somewhere and what type of bracket/mount it would take. I like the looks of the tank and was curious if it would fit.

Re: LET website.......
Hi Guys. The tank was designed to fit in a very tight place in the C32. I will check it out on a crossfire however when I get back from SEMA.
As far as the video, the water is not boiling over in any way, its just bubbling. Water temps stay around 75. Even after hard runs, you can open the lid, and drop your hand in the fluid. The tank itself is designed to dissipate heat. The tank only gets warm in that location. The air holes are to allow for uninterrupted radiator fan flow. We tested a prototype for months in the hot LA summer, with no holes, and it still worked great. Engine temps are perfect.
The tank separates the fluid, adds 1.2 gallons of fluid capacity, and allows for easy ice addition for practically instant cooldown.

Re: LET website.......
If there is enough interest in my "1 gal flow" tank - I'm sure I can get more made. The shop that fabbed mine said that his minimum order on materials would make five tanks (plus the caps) so if five members are interested - I'll be glad to ask again.
Would you want an aluminum cap like mine or a black plastic cap? Polished or unpolished?

We both agreed the tank could be made a bit larger and hold up to 1.25 to possibly 1.5 gallons of coolant. I also wanted baffles installed on both ports to protect the lines from any blockage (i.e. small ice chunks).
The tanks would have the same filler cap has mine, would include all the fittings (I still need to price those out) and the tank would not be polished - but would still look plenty nice.
If material prices have not changed; were looking at around $300 plus shipping. He would have my SRT6 availible at his shop so he could ensure each tank was a proper fit. I will have a firmer price by next week - but now you have a ball park figure.
Re: LET website...
Brian, would your tank operate : IC-OUT -> Tank in -> Tank out -> HE in-> HE out ->Johnson CM30 -> IC in ? Would you notice the additional 1 or 1.5 Gallons of fluid regarding lowering IATs or do you think your IC-separation mod which I did on my car give the same results?
I also ordered the C3P-Spearco IC...

Re: LET website...
Brian, I haven't followed your tank completely so I dont know, but is it for both the radiator AND the H/E circuit? But separates them inside?
Given its stock location, and (im assuming) dual function, $300 sounds like a reasonable price to pay for something that works and avoids the headache of doing it all myself.
