Default Added some "AMG" emblems to the engine bay

I thought these would look a lot better than the boring/plain "S R T 6" lettering on the manifolds. I also did a little modification to them before installing...............

Sharp. Those ’55 boxes set ‘em off beautifully.

I've had the engine plaque for a few months now.............it was donated by a S65 that had a "run in" with an 18 wheeler.

Looks better IMO. Is that 240's manifold mod?

Very clean job, I have a couple of sets of the "AMG" plenums on hand just trying to figure out what to do with them, I'm gonna try a few different paint schemes and maybe polish one. Trying to clean up the engine bay for my son as he is more into looks than speed? He didn't get that part from me lol!

Thanks; most of the kids these days aren't impressed by anything unless it has a "type R" emblem on it. Perhaps you could grind off the "AMG" lettering and put a "type R" sticker on each manifold..............then when he pops his hood at school everybody will gasp and be super impressed.

PS: I've always been about speed/power more than anything. I just lucked out with the 6 since it has great power and sharp unique looks.

The appearence on your manifolds looks more stock the 240's without all the extra welds! How is the fitment and alignment? Are you going to start offering a service for this mod, if so your price?

Question Re: Added some "AMG" emblems to the engine bay

Great work. Did you polish the AMG logo? It looks shiny compared to my SRT6 lettering.

The fitment and alignment are perfect.................I spent HOURS cutting and porting the mani's to the max and modifying the tubes to fit and clear everything(albeit with minimal clearance). I even gasket match ported the ports to the s/c.

I will NOT sell any as I do not wish to get in on anybody elses territory. I do my mods for myself to make the car look/perform as I wish. The time I spend on custom building/modifying parts far outweighs the "accepted" price to sell the item(s).

My girlfriend said the same thing and I didn't even entertain the option as I am a huge fan of symmetry(sp).
