proud new owner
I drove 200 plus miles today to tade my 05 limited for a blue srt6. All i can say is wow there is a night and day difference in power. On the way home on I74 a newer mustang pulled up in the passing lane and reved it's engine and started to pull away. That is when i floored it and pulled away for the mustang. after looking at it in the review mirror i glanced the speedometer and ws doing tad over 140 mph.

Hi, another new owner here, well sort of. I purchased a SRT6 roadster two days ago to replace the wife's 77 corvette. I picked the SRT because it is mostly a MB and the price was low compared to a first gen SLK. I was impressed with the looks of the car, and it sure is fast for the money. I drive a leased SLK 280 and will have to trade up for an SLK55 next May when the lease is over. (Can't have the wife's car driving away from me as quick as it would now). The bad part of all this (for the wife) is, winter and snow are right around the corner here in BC, so I bought the car, she drove it once and then I put it into storage until April.
I have read alot on this site abount the ic pump, should I replace it now or wait to see if it fails? I have no plans to modify the car as it's the wife's car so only looking to keep it running nicely for her.

About a year and half ago I did the same thing. I traded my 06 limited for a SRT and I had the same WOW feeling. I couldn't freakin believe it.
Congrats on the SRT and enjoy watching your rear view mirror.
