Default Chrysler warranty and loaner question

I'm taking in my car to get my hard start / bad fuel pump check valve problem fixed.

The service guy I spoke with on the phone said they don't provide a loaner if you take it in for warranty work. I thought otherwise?

Also, how retentive are dealerships about seeing mods like HID ballasts in your engine bay?

I took my car to the dealer today for seat heaters and head lamp TSB, waranty adjustment. I was given an '08 Avenger rental @ N/C.

I believe if the warranty work is > 2 hours they will provide a loaner. At least that's what my dealership told me. When they did the headliner and the transmission leak they provided a loaner each time.

most of the time you have to have a service contract that covers rental cars chrysler or aftermarket but if its just chrysler basic warranty chrysler does'nt provide loaners but some dealerships provide there own loaners so call around dealerships sometimes are very different on customer service......

Search the hard start issue and you will see a post of mine listing the parts replaced. I can't remember if I scanned my invoice in or not. It was last year. Yes they gave me a loaner. Actually once they found out it was the fuel pump they called me because I requested to keep the car until the part came in. It took a few weeks and then I took the car back. When I took the car back then I got a rental for a day.

The XF came as a premium car and a loaner car comes as a part of the deal. Tell the dealer to look it up.

As for the mods, it depends on your relationship with the dealer. If they know you, not a problem. If they do't like you or don't trust you they could screw you and viod the part of the warranty that you modded.

both my 04 coupe and my 05 SRT6 came with the free loaner program just like the luggage, all the x-fires I thought came with this package like rmaderman said it was chryslers premium car and came with free loaner any time you bring your car in even for an oil change you can get a loaner under warranty of course. But once the warranty is done so is your loaner.

only 2004 and 2005 Crossfires came with premium care loaner/rental for all scheduled maintenance and warranty repairs for 3yr/36k miles.

Actually found that out today. Had to take my car back in to the stealership.

Brake return spring broke on both wheels... When I told them to fix the rear end, they said ok... three days later, $176 in rental car fees, and a major headache I could pick it up last night. Picked it up, happy to have my baby back and to get out of the chevy aveo (what an ugly, terrible car). So this morning on my 3 mile drive to work, I hear a more faint version of the same noise.

So I call up the dealership and ask if they looked at both wheels... and of course.... they said no. So I took it back in, and they had to re-order a new brake return spring for the other side... and now i'm out of the crossfire until monday. On top of that, if they did both at the same time I would be done with this, and not back to paying 40+ a day for a rental car... I think they need to pay for this rental car... any ideas how I can get them to do that... anyone.
