Default Heated Seat Fuse Question?? & Dome Light?

I have never turned my heated seats on surprisingly ,and neither the bottom or back works.

I just find this odd since the burnt out excuse seems it wouldn't apply.

Could this be just a blown fuse? The passengers side works fine, both areas.
Is each seat hooked up to its own fuse or the same fuse?

Maybe this might be related but my drivers side dome light is dimming and sometimes off completely. Could this be related. Also my drivers side brake light was out and just replaced it. I just find it odd that all electrical issues are on the drivers side?

Is there a control unit for all these items, or is this just a coincidence?

Just wanted to add some more info!!

I had my center console painted a while back, could something have been accidentally disconnected that would heat the seat in that area.

When I push the seat heater button, the double light comes on, than after a while goes to single light. Wouldn't that seem that the car thinks it is pushing the current somewhere?

I get hot easily..... and the regular heat is extremely hot in these fine auto's

When you pushed your seat heater button did the lights come on when your seats were broken?

All my other electrical problems just seem odd. Literally all in about 2-3 days.

rodimus - typical problem with our cars.the seat heater issue. If your car is under warranty get the dealer to fix it. If not look under the TSB section and someone posted the "fix". That intails removing the seat and a bunch of other stuff. The other issues you got me on but a number of us have had the drivers butt heater pad go out. No I doubt its a fuse.

Thanks-

I just have powertrain left, so I'll probably just leave it alone. I wanted to get seats that would give me more headroom anyway. This will just make that decision easier.

remember that if the fix is broke wires only then the system can easily be transfered to the new type seats that you decide on this is only a thought good luck on your pick

I was wondering the same thing. I've been searching the internet to find seats, preferably electric but I don't care about the heater. Does anyone know the actual seat size info for our stock seats??
