Help please - My car is trembling
I noticed this morning on my way to work that my car was shuddering for no apparent reason. I noticed it whilst waiting at various lights. It seems to tremble for a second or so then stop then start again a couple seconds later etc. Once at work, in park at idle i noticed my cars rev range would go up to half a 'k' after each shudder. The fuel light has just come on when i arrived at work and it rained last night. Im not sure low fuel would promote this issue but is it possible the rain has had some effect on my car? It seems to drive normaly and this has never happened before. It is a new car with 1000miles on the clock.
Low fuel pressure / low tank will really wig out a FI engine, never let it get low, Iam conservative and to me 1/4 tank is park it or fill time. WOODY
Just had that with an employee and his truck.....

Is your car under warranty? That's the easiest way to get it fixed. The check valve has to do with building pressure and keeping it there so the fuel is always in the lines. If it lets the pressure go then the car doesn't start immediately and feels like fuel is running out causing the tremble. At least with mine, maybe you are having a different issue.
My car started fine but i will put that to the test when im going home. Is it advised that i dont drive the car until i take it for a service? I do have a 3 year warranty. My car is due to get its first service done monday week. I also hope the cause has nothing to do with me driving my car relatively hard with a unused amg engine..

Break in is historic and not needed, they are better machined, Always run it like you are going to drive it expecially if there is a warranty covering it, shake the infant mortality issues out early..........
