Default Please!

can someone please show me the thread of how the guy cut the square part of the intake and put a mesh grill with something else with it? im sorry i am vague but i have been searching everywhere to learn how to do this "DIY" mod but i cant find the thread

The one you're talking about is the Code3 intake that mounts on the back of the air Y. I did a quick search but didnt find the thread with pics. There were a couple of them posted. You will just have to read until you find it. Or go to C3P site.....

someone posted how he did it himself using the foam filter and a mesh grill with some blue glue or something...im looking for that thread, anyone know of it?

That's the way to go if you don't want to cut.
When I did mine I figured I'd just buy another back plate in case I wanted to go back to stock.
SURPRISE! You have to buy the entire air cleaner assembly to get it!!!

Sure would like to have an extra plate (hint, hint).
