OK SRT folks I thought that I'd try a thread where we can post troubles that DEADLINE our cars. Might be helpful to someone along the way to document these problems.
The initial post is the template. Copy it, paste it, and fill in the blanks thus-ly.

STATUS: Enter current status of your trouble. 'Open' or 'Closed'.

REASON DOWN: Describe the problem that has caused your car to be un-drivable.

SYMPTOMS: List symptoms of the problem. Overheating, won't start, loss of boost, bearing seized etc.

TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE: Steps you have taken to isolate/identify the cause of the problem.

SOLUTION: What was ultimately done to correct the problem.

Nice one, Franc.

Good luck with your pursuit. This spring, I hope to be trying to catch you at the dragon.

(This is probably already the case on the twisties. My SRT only helped me on the sweepers.)

REASON DOWN:

Rear struts blown

SYMPTOMS:

TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE:

STATUS:
Completely drivable!

REASON DOWN:

Not so much down as not 100% happy.

SYMPTOMS:
Squeaks & groans from rear wheels. Occasional oil-like droppings on driveway.

TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE:
Listen for squeaks from rear wheels when braking. Stare & grumble at oil-like droppings.

SOLUTION:
Replace rear brake rotors, check pads. Take car to dealer & have them check for infamous tranny leak.

I actually had the SRT out of the garage for the 2nd time since the beginning of Dec. yesterday.
Had to burn through some gift cards from Best Buy & Barnes & Noble.
Decent day, temps. in the upper teens, sunny & dry & the roads haven't been this good since I can't remember when. Perfect day to get it washed, too!
