Default Idler Bearings have shipped!

The idler bearings are finally on their way to me. I should have them by the end of the week.

I'm going to replace the bearings in all LET, ASP, and Renntech kits for you guys.

There will be no warranty on the replacement bearings. Please use them at your own risk.

I have sent 3 old style bearings off for inspection so far and the failure was due to install errors on either our part, or the person installing the pulley. The bearings are pressed into the pulley, so there is a good chance that the damage was done during the "pressing". If that wasn't the cause, then it was due to over tightening the idler pulley.

I'm not going to get into a debate over this, so don't even try to argue about it.

If you don't want the free idler bearing replacement, then don't order it. If you do, then great. Again, the first 50 units will be here by the end of the week.

I'm leaving for Florida on Friday and will try to arrange for these to be shipped while I'm gone.

FYI - These are ABEC-5 bearings with a PA66 (glass fiber / nylon) retainer vs. the standard iron cast unit. There is also a hybrid grease/oil composite for cooling / lubrication.

I am 100% on board for the new bearing. When or how do I put in for one. Will you need a request or will this do?
Once again thanks for your support of the product you sold.
Mike

I'm working on a link now where you can place your free order. This will allow us to track the order and help keep this manageable.

Give me a few minutes and you will be able to order it online. They will not ship until the weekend though!
