Default Front SRT-6 Wheel

I have a small curb gouge area in one front wheel. More than just scraped paint. Not sure that a rim repair would be any cheaper than a used good condition wheel with shipping. Soooo what's the going rate now for one good used front wheel? Didn't see one listed here or E-Bay. Also need to replace one ContiTouringContact tire. Chunk out of the sidewall. And I wasn't the driver! Squirrel Crusher

Same here, just the tires fine. She just touched a curb and I could have it repaired easy but I think we'll replace it since we are such perfectionists. Maybe keep it as a spare or sell it on here to offset costs. If we both sold ours someone could have a front set to work with cheap.

Anyway, to really answer your question on new wheels...

The SRT6 versions on that site look to have a darker grey powder coating in the "windows". Have you ordered a set from here? I wonder how they look in person.

I haven't ordered from them yet. If you were I would definately get them on the phone to verify or have it in writing in an email, just be safe.

They do list them stock wheels and factory oem though. I'm also wondering if they are reconditioned or new. I just sent an email to find out more...

I'll be watching this tread with interest. Both of our front wheels are bent. the outside circumference is true but the inside of both has a flat spot spanning about 4 inches. Surprisingly it is the same spot on both wheels, just opposite the valve stem. The car drives fine, and I didn't know the problem existed until I drove my Dad's and felt how glassy smoth it should be.

Good...a quick response (~30 minutes) from Dave at Finish Line, doubt he'll mind me quoting him exactly... "rims are reconditioned to brand new condition, factory finish and clear coated, we sell to many dealers and shops across the country, and they use our rims insetead of paying big money for new ones from the dealers, thanks for choosing www.finishlinewheels.com

I'm bookmarking this site. If I can't find a company to repair my rim for a reasonable price, I may just replace it.

If anyone has ordered rims from this company, please let us know if they are identical to OEM.
