Default ASP 178 pics needed

Does anyone have, or can take, some pics of a ASP 178 setup for me? Went to have the 178 kit installed today, and my mechanic calls me and says its entirely different than my stock pulley(which I thought it was just a stock pulley with larger band welded on the outside?). And that the stock pulley was 1.5" taller front to back than this one. Now I wish I was there when he had them both laying on his desk... I emailed the seller of the kit and he assured me it was an ASP kit and that hes done the install a bunch of times and that the shop didn't know what they were doing. I've never used the shop before, but they only work on euro cars and said they'd installed ASP pulleys on a C32 before. I'm not sure who to believe now. Can't really find any good pics of these online.

A side-by-side pic with a stock pulley would be great!

Any good shops to do this in the Orlando area?

The asp kit is 3 pcs total. The crank pulley which is larger, the idler pulley, and the water pump pulley. Here is a pic from mbworld http://www.mbworld.org/forums/engine...amg-450-a.html

I have the other two pulleys, and they look just like the picture you posted cruzin.

Here, I'll just post pics of what I have, and you guys tell me if it's a ASP 178:

Glad to see you got the pulley kit we werte both considering buying How does everything look as far as condition?

As far as the application, it looks right to me, not sure how that is "completely differnet"? By taller front to back does that mean he removed the stock one laid it on its face next to the 178 to obtain this measurement?

Tell you what do this...go out and measure your stock pulley on the car from the front face of the pulley to as far back as you can. Now do this for the 178 and see if its 1.5" longer, keep in mind the last .5" is the neck that goes into the crankcase. This wont be exact but you should know real quick if its 1.5" off...thats a ton

Everythings in fine condition(ignore the Styrofoam peanuts in the pics). I think that's what he meant, but who knows what he did, I'm beginning to not believe him at all...(it's my first german car so I've never used him or his shop before)

The MB part number on it is A112.035.07.00 can someone confirm that's correct for our cars? Google had no answers for me on that one. If someone could measure how thick the stock pulley is, I could take measurements on this one... I measured the diameter and it's only 172mm?
