Default Let Is Welcomed Here

I know I don't have any LET parts, but alot of you do. He was banned from MBworld. Not sure why, but know it's not fair considering what MHP and 360 got away with. Jerry you will always have this forum.

They banned me after my vendor ship ended, it actually said "ban lift date: NEVER". I called the company that actually maintains the website and the guy spoke with management...now im no longer banned.

Long story short the moderator over there(at least one in particular, AMDEUTCSH) is trash. As in incompetent and incapable of doing a proper job at moderating and treating everyone on equal terms. What one person gets away with another will not...and if you want to know the truth i think its based on vendor affiliations. Im not going to state any names lets just say ive picked up on a "pattern"...and its bullsh!t.

On a contrary note, the company that handles the site has WONDERFUL customer service. Its like good parents leaving the kids at home and trusting them...only to find the house burned down upon return.

Whoa, that really sucks. What could LET possibly have done to deserve that?

Looked like a pissing match to me where MHP was the one who started it all. Regardless, C32 owners know of LET and will just go their website to find new products or come here to see any new ones that are coming out.

To be honest you always have people arguing about which tune is better. It happened on this forum how another car was running faster then any LET tuned car. That being said I think people should remember that yea you want a fast tune but not at the sake of doing damage. A couple of guys are running a 100 octane tune so you start to get into apples vs. oranges. Yea I want a fast tune but at 93 octane because that is all that is available to me. This was the same type of war that went on over at the Diesel forum when EFI live came out for the Duramax. It was my tune vs your tune and several guys ended up with broken and melted pistons. My point is this, anyone can make your car faster but I would rather deal with a company like LET that has your engine safety in mind. I personally would rather run .1 slower and get 100,000 miles from my engine then have it shot at 30,000 from it running on the edge. I think LET always tunes a hair on the safe side and I am okay with that.

I remember that thread. It started with MHP making unverified claims about LET, and Jerry defending his products and rightfully so. From there it just spiraled downwards...

Apparently someone brought out the ban stick and hit the wrong person with it. Still funny considering how much LET has done for the MB's as well as us.

Thanks for the explanation. It will be interesting what MHP says about Tim Milliken said about his tunes and TCU tuning. Or the definition of TCU tuning in itself.

Yes, there’s a lot of smack and bull flung around on MBWorld. Degenerate members are only banned for violating the TOU – as they should be.
LET’s situation is undoubtedly a snafu at Internet Brands.

Some of us have found our way over here because many of you are sharp. I’m never too proud to borrow another man’s good ideas.

^ Interesting site, Jake. Best wishes with your new concern.

Unfortunate then, that you're typically on the lending side of that transaction...

LET has been reinstated.

And yes, 240M3SRT, AMDEUTCSH is an idiot. He was the one who did it. He PM'd me this morning and warned/threatened me and told me to stop advertising for LET.....I posted threads a couple of days ago to set up a tuning day to see who would be interested, and I guess somehow those threads weren't allowed to be there b/c LET was banned and somehow I was promoting them when all I wanted was to get a list of people who wanted to get tuned.

There's some things going on over there that are very very shady.

I think Internet Brands (the owners of MBWorld) need to step in, and take control of the forums by putting their own people in place.

Oh I agree, when companies can screw people over left and right on product yet continue to be a "supporting member".

Makes me want to sell my Crossfire.

That's a little extreme, sell the crossfire because of a poor quality piece from a crappy vendor. Avoid the vender and warn others and keep your crossfire

agree with you....

"supporting member" = $$

for 300 bucks a month I guess internet brands could care less what they do
