Default Hi there!

I just thought I would introduce myself...some of you might know my husband SRT6Shadow. I have a 2006 Crossfire SRT6 Coupe, Machine Grey (only one known stateside! Whoo hoo) with a Needs Wings CAI. I used to have a 2005 Black Crossfire SRT6 but it was totaled in early Decemeber Nice to meet everyone!

Machine gray is awesome. I was thrilled with my pair of graphites, but when we found the 2007 we both fell in love with the color. We = me and my son who drives. Welcome back.

My old SRT was black and I was really hoping to find another black one when it was totaled but we found the 06 with only 3,000 miles and couldn't pass it up. I LOVE the Machine Gray now and so glad that I got it...it almost seems to change color in different light! Now my husband and I argue on the better color! LoL

Glad you decided to join and post! I have an Aero Blue 06 SRT-6 coupe. But I'm in Puerto Rico so its on american soil, if not in the states. How do you like the 06 compared to the 05?

Les

I'm liking the 2006 a little better! It's funny the small differences I have noticed. The turn signal is a lot louder on the 06 then the 05. The leather that is around the steering wheel is a very different texture on the 06 and the area around the gas cap is different as well...like a darker harder plastic!!

You know ... your like the only person in the whole world that has owned an 05 and 06. Don't go feeling all godlike, but you are blessed. I'm truly happy for you ... and envious. (I love my 06, what a car!)

LOL! Just ran across this thread...welcome to the forum & hi babe!!!! Differences in the 06 & 05 srt's....I also think the oem headlights have a more bluish tint to them too from seeing them in my rearview mirror. The battery in the engine compartment is white and I'm not quite sure if the front grill is exactly the same...

I remember the the total & long drive home story from another thread. This is a great color and the 2006 has found a good home especially since you had to go through the painful experience of a totaled 2005. If I had not purchased my 2005 SRT a few months earlier you would have had some competition on this one. I would have figured it was under warranty so any problems would be fixed by dealer. No fun driving home but you're way ahead with a 2006 and what I think is the best color.
