Default Belt slip = 18 psi = 12.05@115 in full street trim

Well I never got the chance to change my spark plugs this week, so I skipped out on a competition 5.5hours south of here. Without the N20 I wouldn't have chance. So instead we drove 2.5hours to Lufkin TX(Pinevalley Raceway). Nice track, but I am used to the 20 min drive before our local track shut down.

We finally got there after we were lost for a while. Let the car sit for about 30 min, dumped a little ice in the IC tank and a little sunocco 104 in the gas tank. Temps were damn near 80 today(78 on the dash), several sun burns. First pass with full air pressure in the 275/30/19 Nitto's and street trim.
12.1@115
IAT was 127 and boost was only 18psi

I did some experimenting with the cutouts open, and ran the same times, no better, no worse. So maybe they will be more beneficial when I spray it, other than that save your money.

So with a little bit of belt dust on the pulley I am pretty sure it was slipping. I had the factory belt on and removed the code3 belt wrap kit, since I killed the gatorback belt. I was so close to 11's in full street trim even with only 18psi I decided to give it one more shot, but came up short.
12.05@115
Alot of people there were impressed, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed that I couldn't hit that 11.99.

With some cooler weather, 3-4 more psi and some drag radials/skinnies no doubt she could hit a 11.5-11.7. Maybe next year, it's just gonna get hotter from here on out.

I have a video or the 12.1 run. I'll work on getting that up. It may not have went as fast as I wanted but sure looked sexy.

That is still pretty strong! I know you have 11's in that car! You should try to make it to Ennis on 4/18 for Mopars at the Motorplex~

Sounds like you are almost there, why did you not keep the pulley wrap kit on?

Very nice time! you definately have 11's in that setup! 115 is a good mph. What were your 60's?

The stock belt is not long enough and my gatorback belt was tore up due to I believe an error on my part.

The Nitto Nt05's are pretty sweet but no hoosier. I pulled some 1.8's, but I had to roll into it. Hoosiers you could just stall it up and punch it. To drive 150miles bang out some 12.0's without changing a thing, turn around and drive back without any issues, it's pretty nice and the Nitto's have filled my void for an all around tire. Now I just need to test them at the next auto-x event.

Get your 60's in the 1.7's and you are at least a 11.9's! Maybe 11.8's.

wow. darn impressive on Street wheels and tires!!!!! just switch to slicks in the rear and you'd be 11's for sure.

BUT...... it's SO MUCH COOLER to hit 11's on EXACTLY what you hit the roads with!!!!!!

great runs. definitely.

Thanks everyone! Been several months since I have run her down the track so it felt good. I just wish our local strip hadn't closed. That's why I sold my hoosiers since the car will see more street duty now.

definitely need to isntall that wrap kit soon once you get another belt. Brandon told me you really are supposed to run stacked pulleys with it....less belt slip, not to mention, you get another 7 or so whp (.5lb of boost apparently)

Nice DA too. Last friday night we had the best DA ever that I've been able to race in. It was around 11pm at night and hit 1800'. I was thinking I would better my 11.97 in AZ. No way I spun every qualifying and lost in the 2nd round because of it. The best I could run was 12.12. So much for DA when track prep isn't up to par.

I know what you mean though, we spent the whole day at Famoso for like 5 passes in good weather. We were ready to just go home.

Id like to suggest that you add the belt wrap kit and use a gates belt, the gatorback looks terrible to me and I would not accept one at the supply store. Not good construction for the ones I saw. Gates is solid in my book.Enjoy Woody

I don't know if it's possible on street tires. I had ease into it off the line a bit. Like I said with the hoosiers is was WOT out the hole. My friend pulled some 1.6's in his mustang with ET street radials so the track was prepped pretty good.

Once I get the belt wrap kit back on maybe I'll give it another shot in a couple weeks.

I mashed it out of the hole on street tires (stock P2s) and got great 60fts- thus the reason I'm skeptical about the benefit of slicks. Maybe a 1.6 is possible w/ slicks. I'll probably make that investment once I have the manis and my new tune.

When you do get them, can I borrow them for a run or two?! :P

If you make it out to Ennis, you can bolt on my Nitto Drags for a pass~
