I have not gotten a dyno yet, there is a big race around here tonight and all the reputable dyno shops have been busy tuning folks for that. I do have an appointment next week though. Car is ready and running better than ever, Also I switched from the 19" Hoosier A6's to Mickey Thompson 26x10.5R16's. She is loaded on the trailer and ready to go. I am going to hit the track on Sunday for a test and tune to see what improvements if any I have made I am also bringing my son along he will be driving the Crossfire and I will be doing some testing on my Camaro, I will make the first pass in the Crossfire though so I can see what she can do, he's only 17 and might run a 15 or something as it will be his first time at a dragstrip. Will report back on Monday. ( I am praying weather will not interfere !)
Nice i live only miles away from the shop you sent it in for all the port and polish work, would be nice if you knocked a couple 10ths off
. what was your previous non-nitrous best?

run2-100 octane tune-12.4 @ 113
run3- 93 octane tune- 12.2 @ 114
run 4- 93 octane tune- 12.1@ 114
run 5- stock tune- 12.1@ 114
run 6- stock tune- 12.0 @114
So I'm not sure what to make of it all, as I was not datalogging.Boost was good, 18.6, AFR was decent 12.7-13.1 and thats all I could see with my gauges. Air was horrible as it had just stopped raining at 9:30am and it was 85 temp and very humid. I'm going to datalog some runs tomorrow and see if timing is geting pulled and check iat temps etc...
Maybe it just slowed down from the work? I have some analyzing to do. I will report back soon.
Man that sucks big time. Seems like people with stock tunes are putting down better numbers than tuned people lately. Maybe she's rusty from not running down the track for a while?
Wow quicker with no tune? That's a weird one. Are you sure you didn't mix up your chips? I'm sure you'll figure it out. Maybe the spark is different with your new setup.

what was the trap speed for that 11.59 run?

The 11.59 run had a trap of around 120. I went out today and did some runs from a roll to 110-120mph and timing is getting pulled big time after my first shift, it is pulling back 50% or so and never recovers. So I have some analyzing to do, and when I get the tune right/bugs worked out I think it will be deadly. Running a 12 flat with nearly no timing advance is well, not bad in hindsight. Stay Tuned.......

I know it has been a while since I last updated, but I have been trying to dial this thing in. Finally last week I got a little closer with a 11.75 @ 117.9mph in 90 degree heat. I was still running real lean, all the new air from the engine and supercharger work left the old tune unable to keep up with the fueling. I have had Inmotion burn me a new chip with more fuel, and I plan on heading back out in the next few days. I am very happy with that run considering the sweltering heat and high humidity, but I know I have some more left. Once I get it dialed in, then I will pay for dyno time and throw up some charts for you guys.

MD, nice to see you testing again. Must be nice just to be able to switch out tunes. James will have you tuned in no time. data, data, data.
