There was a race component to the Syracuse show. Even with a track elevation of 398 feet, I still couldn't break out of the 12.7s. My best today was a 12.70@111.11. I logged each run. It didn't seem like it was shifting early, like last week. But I still don't know why I'm getting lousy times.
Anyway, It's about 10 hours to your place, and I have to work Friday (big useless meeting). So it's going to be a tight weekend. I may have to drive part way Friday night and stay somewhere then meet you at the track... I dunno.
Give me another day or two to think about it, and to see if I can get this meeting rescheduled.

Tom I deliver in the Upper Sandusky area....its 5 hrs from there in a big rig...so if you do a little cross country run, might save you some hrs...maybe drop 71 down then over thru the country, 224, 36, to 69 in IN...if you want to do that, I can map her out for ya...GPS doesn't always give you the shortest route, as I am finding out, I disagree with mine daily....LOL>>>

Doc, I don't know what I was thinking. 10 hours isn't right. Between 7 and 8 hours from me to the track - and about 6 1/2 hours from my place to yours. Looks like a pretty straight shot down 71, but I'm not so keen on Route 36 for 150 miles. That looks like a 2 lane job to me.Yikes!
Re: << Let/ Eurocharged Chi-town Track Day - May 30 >>
not that bad, LOL...if I can do it in a truck....traffic would be better if you stay away from 70 in the evening on Fridays....so if 36 doesn't look good to you maybe 30 to 224, you have 4 lane for a good ways...trying to get the little pulley rap thing figured out before Sat...may not have time though...working on lawn mowers for the boys...go figure...

I've driven to Lima, OH my fair share of times, and following Route 30 from Akron on over is a real chore. It's not as bad as it used to be maybe 5 years ago, but still. It would probably be easier in a truck. My car doesn't like going under 75mph.

Any room for a lowly NA XF at this big boys meet? LOL
I will be at the lakehouse about an hour from the track and was thinking about coming up, seeing some runs and some familiar faces.
Do we have to pay if we are only spectating?? Any additional info I should be made aware of? Thanks.
