go to youtube, type in rocky mountain radar or laser jammer or radar roy. radar roy does some tests and even offers $50,000 cash to anyone that can prove anything from rocky mountain works lol. he even offered it to the owner of rmr's face on tv and the owner refused to test it against police laser and radar lol.

 

Good luck, in MN and most states thats a big no-no.
They lock on you with jammer and when it comes back with a bunk reading they know you have a jammer.

Then they can pull you over and waste hrs of your time tearing into it looking for the jammer.

I had researched this too and found bad press / reviews. Radar jammer would be against the FCC, one *** and they have you for sure.

Laser jammers are not under FCC, its under the FDA and not regulated BY THEM> check your state. BTW jammers are like a flashlight in a dark night, they can see you too. Most subs that operate are in PASSIVE operation, not Pinging away which can be heard THOUSANDS of miles............

OK, just for fun...you can't jam LIDAR...no one has done it yet...and in fact, I don't know of anyone jamming RADAR affectively....this was even tried on "Myth Busters" and they couldn't do it....and all depts are going to LIDAR....and some are bringing back VASCAR, my favorite of the old school days...

come by my radar faiz....I only pull the trigger when I have a really good one....LOL...trust me, they don't work...you have just been lucky...detectors are good for knowing where we are , just don't be the one we pick out....and if I would get a crazy reading, by use of my sound tracking, I will know you have one....and that fine is even more, and I would just cite you for excessive speed, and let you argue with the judge...they are only good for knowing we are around when we have our units turned on...jammers can't get close enough to our units to work...

 

i dont argue with you that jamming radar is illegal and very very hard to jam radar.

lidar or laser on the other hand you can jam active or passive using counter measures. i am in no way wanting to disrespect you as you were willing to help me out with the tires. i can go in more detail about lidar and how they jamming works,

no argument from me faiz23, as our young officers test this crap all the time, we just then train to use our tools differently...think of it this way, if we are just in an area to get people to slow down, then our units are left on, and we take what we get, we know people are out there detecting us, and they are slowing down, mission accomplished, but if we are in the hunting mode for real speeders, the units are left off until we see our target...thumb, faster than foot....gotcha ya...while we are getting you, all those with detectors are slowing down...as for jammers, you have to be right on top of us, and they don't work for moving or stationary at a distance...we have young guns improving our equipment too...techs are making money on both sides of the coin...but I have done this for 30 yrs, from old to new, and my favorite was VASCAR...no signal at all...a timing device...nothing you can jam, nothing you can detect...

vascar is deadly lol no luck there just sign the citation and move on

radar you are right all you can do is detect if the radar is on if it is setup for instant on i/o then you are toast. unless you are using a rabbit a guy ahead of you who is speeding you will never detect i/o in time to slow down.

laser on the other hand is deadly if you are only using a radar since it is hard for radar to sniff out a laser and only picks up on scatter and only high end radars will pickup laser scatter.

laser interceptor is an amazing laser jammer and will actively jam the signal and id the gun being used. you will want to flip the switch to the unit off once you have slowed down to posted speed limit so they can get a reading.

 

faiz, we use sound for tracking, on the advertisements, this is never mentioned...its the sound that tracks, tone changes when we have a target, gets higher as you approach, if you slow, the tone lowers in pitch, now if you would be able to jam, we would know it right away...its just a way to sell you something, trust me...I've seen them all...and also remember this, for us to be certified as operators, we must learn to quess, visually guess, or I should say as I would state in court, estimate your speed within 5 mph...I can write someone, at least here in IN, for excessive speed without radar, lidar, vascar...they are nice tools for knowing we are around, but not 100%...its just a big game for both sides, save your money, buy a cobra or something inexpensive, it will work just as well...although I know cheap versions, will give off more false signals....you be careful out there...
