under warranty??
I tried searching this subject...
How do I know if my '05 is under warranty? I bought it from the spouse of the owner that died.....she had no info to offer.......I know the Original was 3/36... the car has 19,000 but is beyond the 3 yr.....Any ideas?
I did see a posting on purchasing an extended...seemed like a good idea to me......

Your Chrysler Dealer can tell you whatever warranty is still in effect on your Crossfire. An extended warranty would need to be transferred to your name, and there is a cost for that. If the powertrain warranty is longer than 3/36 I believe there is a transfer fee as well.
Congrads on your purchase, I know you will love it.

Yes, if you're the second owner, and you apply for a transfer within one month of purchasing, you can pay a fee at the dealer to have the balance of the 7/70 warranty transferred to you.
Call any Chrysler dealership and have them look up your "Inservice date", this is the date the car was sold for the first time. That is the start of your 36 months, mine just ran out so I purchased an extended.
