Let's start by saying my car was built and design by LET with all the goodies. 181 Pulley, Headers, AMG55 intakes, spacers, Tune and Heat Exchanger. I added a new exhaust set-up yesterday morning / Magnaflow--I hate the sound and drone @ MPH. I need to re-tune it with the free flowing pipes.
I was on a slick track launching at idle after blowing the tires off twice in my first 2 passes. Air Temps were 82 degrees and 78% humidity @ 91ft above sea level. I have friends working on pics and video and will post these soon. For now let's break down this time slip.

I bet I spoke to 20 people about the car that made a trip over to ask me about it. Some giggle-billies in the pits running a Vette and Mustang got destroyed egos by over .6 seconds each in the 1/4. On the way home I busted a GTO 50-110 on an open I-10.
One was really nice about it...afterwards.

Very nice! Hopefully you can get out there when the temps are down a little bit and get close to that 11 second mark. I too need a retune especially now that my exhaust is really opened up.

 

We will have a gif that will get everyones attention but I dependent on others for the pics and video.

1.90--60ft just seamed so bad to me.

AWWWWWW I was soooo going to this until I got the bad news on Thursday!! Was the track prepped well? I talked to one of the guys at HPD who was putting on the even and he promised me the track prep was going to be phenominal (Lonestar usually SUUUCKS!).

 

The left lane was not good by any means. It got better as the rubber was laid down but no, it was not well prepped. I had to launch at idle, sadly. The guy that ran the event was really nice.

He ran a 12.2 @ 127mph on another pass. It was an amazing car without traction on a slick track.
