Talking Still trying new look (s) out

I wanted to knock down the contrast of the silver and the matte front end before I redo the hood paint to match the bumpers. I had tried to do a shade of grey that I did not care for and have added a new shade. Turns out that the windshield surrounds are easily removed for painting and such

In any case I want to get the power and painting done for Carlisle and should be there with out any excuses. Enjoy, Woody

I don't care what everyone else says, if you like Crossfires and cats you cannot be as bad as they say.

One hundred and eighty, can I get that in writing, may come in handy

Antenna is weak enough, when I drive north the signal would be blocked by roof and the terristial signal is weaker here, in a big city I could do it

Total matte, I keep hearing that since the tail of the D meeting??????????

Washington has now had two dry weekends and total rain in the week. THis is totally backwards from the last 30 years when it only rained on the weekend???????????? Next week is to be clear too???

I think he was kidding with the hugger camaro look. My interest is function, Iam not too fussy for clean but detailing is not for me. The matte paint was selected/researched strictly for its spectrial characteristics and nothing else.

THink about it, W DY

Matte is great for hoods if you selected it for its spectral qualities, I saw a BMW all black matte the other day, real sharp. Everything was black, no chrome at all.

Loved the look at the Dragon and am glad it is evolving, as one black(ed) coupe to another, keep up the good work.

Also, what exactly are the 'special characteristics' of this paint? If you do not mind sharing.....

He either meant spectral (ghostly) or special.. If its special, it was probably done to reduce the glare from the hood on a bright day. Old school racing technique .

Spectral .. 'of the spectrum' in this case its the lack of color in reflections because there are no reflections is my guess. Neat look.
