Default TVT Design Dual Exhaust on a SRT6

Our Exhaust is finished and ready for production. We built two models one with a single dual in/dual out muffler and the other with two seperate mufflers.

www.tvtdesign.com/videos

This shows the clip of the single muffler set up.

The system is built entirely of T304 SS and welds right before the rear cats. It incorporates 2 Resonators, 2 Race mufflers, H-pipe, and oval tips. All clamps (v-band) and hangars are T304 as well.

Enjoy!

Will this be a direct bolt on for the SRT6? Will you offer a cat-back system?

Lots of questions I see.
Here is another one - What is up with the cackling/backfire-esque sound made when the throttle is released?

The stock exhaust makes that crackiing/backfire sound to when you rev it hard when it's in park.

Dyno gains? Very little to gain on the dyno. Figure the same gains as any of the dual 2.5" systems.

What is smallest point of the inner diamater of the tips? Tips are 2.5" inlet, 3.5" outlet.

Customer wanted all 4 original cats on the car, so they stayed.

This system is designed to replace the rear cats and be welded from that point on. We saw no reason to replace from the manifolds back as the stock pipe up to that point is already 2.5" and free flowing. This alone saved a lot of money.

The 999.00 includes V-bands to weld to the stock exhaust and the new exhaust to allow for easy disconnect. If you don't want or need the V-bands the system is 889.00 shipped (v-bands=$$$)

Not nearly to that degree, at least mine doesn't.

Honestly there is really no need to dyno this. There have been numerous dual 2.5" exhausts dynoed and we all pretty much know the results, very little gain. I'll ask the owner if he wants to do a pull to see what the change was, but its not a priority. He just got dyno tuned a week prior so this will be a fairly comparable test.

If we get more then 15 RWHP I'd be impressed. I like it for the sound and weight savings over the stock set up. If you are looking for a power gain there are better places to spend 1k.
