that would be very easy to cut. the only thing is, there would need to be 2 small tabs in order to hold the center part of the "A" in place.

two tabs? i'm not good with these kind of things so i'm not entirely sure what you are talking about. i gather that the space in the middle of the "A" makes something difficult lol......with these tabs, will it still look clean?

in all seriousness though, this would be a huge hit IMO on mbworld, whether its with the AMG symbol or the mercedes benz star. a lot of those guys are really really into their cars and like that kind of stuff.

Copying trademarks is dangerous territory, you may get a cease and desist letter from a lawyer representing one of the logos owners.

Nice looking work though.

the big corps have better things to do than to hunt me down. i would be shocked if they did anything about it. even if they were informed on a daily basis that someone from indiana was selling a trinket that had something to do with one of their many logo's. im sure they could care less about me.

if you look at the center of the "A", it would fall out if you were to cut it out. take a look at the clock below. see the "O" in crossfire? it has 2 tabs to hold the center of the "O" so it wont fall out.

I've been asked about using trademarked logos on my mugs, but after inquiring at several local shops and weighing the information I found when looking into it, I felt they (the shops) were refusing to work with with a "trademarked" logo from their past experience and I couldn't become comfortable with the idea. One shop was sent a letter to stop selling shirts (from a law firm that represented the Olympic Organization) when the owner used those rings from the Olympics signs with something written about their tourist town under them, not anything the official Olympic organization wrote or used. This was a pretty small shop in the Northern part of Michigan. I guess it's just hard to tell what they'd do. In the end I felt for my time and effort, I could never come close to repaying myself (so to speak) if I had to stop due to a cease and desist letter. I put my time and effort into things that I created or knew I could use (like the XF image from the luggage tags).
So hey want to buy a coffee mug with a picture of your Crossfire on it? You can personalize it- a picture of you and your car on a mug,

If I understand the item you cut. The letters are not etched but cut out of the metal? Is that correct? If so it would seem possible to light the text from behind with a colored LED that could change colors by a switch. You could then match the color to your specific crossfire color.

exactly. metal has been removed via a 4000 watt beam of light assisted by nitrogen gas.

im sure that AMG would be thrilled that you are a happy supporter of them. having something custom made for you to have in their honor is something they should be excited about.
