Bosch Intercooler Pump
Does anyone know how many liters per a minute the stock Bosch intercooler pump flows? I'm trying to compare it to the Johnson pump, any help would be greatly appreciated!
really? well I orderd a pump here in Australia and it flows 3.5 gallons a minutue, and I found out the stock bosch pump flows 4 gallons per a minute. I canceled it but the guy got abit upset and is making me pay $50 for his troubles. Do you think 3.5 gallon pump will hurt my S/C? if not I may aswell buy it rather then giving him $50 for nothing.
Flow is a matter of the pump capacity and THE SYSTEM RESISTANCE> 1.5 GPM was the total system flow I saw with the stock system. I had engine shut offs due to the high IAT'[s. SEVERE ones during racing!!!
MOre flow is desired and the reason that I created the original SUPER COOLER. With that the same pump went to 4.0 GPM when the stock h/e was replaced.
Flow is a balance of the push and the restrictions. Woody

Just got a new nugget of info for the 30; and the 90 series pumps from Johnson which I just ordered. FYI

ZOWIE, the 90 series is 4 times the flow of our 30 series "upgraded pumps"

The stock pump is the 10 series shown as the smallest curve.
