Default A great buy on a genuine Bosch CPS

EDIT 09/23/15. Some members have received this item and it is shipping from CHINA and has no Bosch markings on the part.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

If you've already bought one please file a claim with Amazon (just like I have to do now) and demand a refund.

Here's a great buy at $23.89 with FREE shipping. A good time to buy one . . .

I just looked at this at Amazon, it said it does not fit the Crossfire.

Hi Wayne, I checked the part number before I posted that . . . It IS the correct CPS for our Crossfires.

Ironically mine went out this weekend. Ordered. Thank you for posting. Expected delivery isn't until the first week in October but since my car isn't a daily driver I can live with that.

Didn't know they were from China, I just noticed that the one I bought yesterday was shipped however wouldn't arrive until around Oct 16 - November 3, 2015.

I held of buying because one of the recent reviews said they weren't any Bosch markings on it.

"the part has no Bosch markings identifying it as a genuine Bosch sensor. it works, but I have a feeling it is a cheap China made part."

Amazon will refund you money since they're not genuine.

Genuine Faux Bosch parts.

I had the same thing happen buying replacement bulbs for my XBR Sony tv. They were supposed to be Sony OEM parts manufactured by Phillips. Instead I received some cheap Chinese knockoffs.
Amazon made the seller refund my purchase and pay for shipping them back. That's why I like buying on Amazon, they won't let you get burned like that. I ended getting some bulbs made in Mexico that worked great.

I just edited my original post. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Buyers are receiving an item coming from China and the part does not have any BOSCH markings! If you've already bought one please file a claim with Amazon and get your money back! Sorry for the problem . . . I'm in the same boat!

I just received that genuine imitation Bosch CPS that was made in China. I've also just filed a claim with Amazon.

Just to clarify. This is the fault of the seller "speedout". Amazon will take care of you though (I have never had better customer service). If you are in need of this part and want it through Amazon, click the "other sellers on Amazon" button and select the one from "Seller: Amazon.com", currently the third one down at $29.03 each with free prime shipping.

I can verify that this one sold and sent by Amazon is a genuine Bosch (I ordered it in February).

UPDATE: In response to the claim I filed through Amazon, the seller SPEEDOUT contacted me with an apology / offered a full refund / no need to return the generic knock off part. I'll post a follow up when I actually receive the refund.

EDIT: I received a full refund from SPEEDOUT . . .

I have always bought mine from FCP Euro. True authentic Bosch brand, plus you only need to buy one time. LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY if it ever fails again!

I'm adding changing the CPS to my list of PM along with the IC pump to keep from getting stranded but I'm curious.

If these OEM Bosch parts are prone to failure are there better substitutes? Or was there a bad batch of parts? Bosch has always meant high quality to me even in other areas from power tools to dishwashers. I've used their spark plugs and wiper blades and they worked great. Has anyone reported failure with the Asian variety CPS?
