We built the car in 10 days for the Eurocharged track event. Since then, I ditched the 50trim for a GT3582r and at 15lbs she made 428whp on a Dyno Dynamics (506 on a DynoJet). Spent a lot of time and money trying to make it look good for Hot Import Nights in Chicago this past Saturday so I havnt had time to play with boost or the tune. The big thing needed is a higher stall torque converter to get the car off the line as I am only seeing 1lb of boost and when I roll off the brake the car bogs to 2.6 60fts and blows the drag radials off going into 2nd.
I daily drive this car....and drove it out to Ohio for Midwest SRT Nationals a few weeks back. About 2k miles on this setup and have yet to have a problem other than traction from a roll up to 90mph (yeah, tried to race my buddy Phil in his modded Viper GTS and spun the tires at 90mph downshifting to 3rd)

Thats too funny man. Awesome set up and good luck with the traction/rear end issue. Have you thought about swapping the rear? It's not really that practical for a daily driver but if you decide to race it on a regular basis you're gonna have to swap it out. Nice piece of work buddy. Very nice indeed.

well you see I had one of the fastest PT Cruisers in the states, after 30,000 miles, 3 turbos, 8 transmissions, and 6 sets of tires ,I got my srt 6 then I demodded the PT and traded it in ,, so all my freinds at ptcrew always rag on me for getting rid of my cruiser, got rid of it after $10,000 dollars $4500. for tranny #8 built to take the 100 shot leaving the line (auto) now with the daily driver Crossfire spent 1500. and going 1/2 second faster, well you know what i mean. my srt 6 will be in the 11 seconds before long, jim

You might want to try a line lock on the front wheels and see how much boost you can make before it pushes the car through the beams. Check on mbworld, I believe renntech and a couple of others have them available. The differ from the standard brake line locks on any racing site. Something to do with the abs I think. Will be nice to get that power useable on the track.
