yes i live on the south side. i have been to the show behind belks we should park there on fri next to the vettes to class them up!

not sure what you mean by keeping them the way they are. i have 2 sets. the black aftermarkets that are on the car now and a set of oem amg II rims that are silver. i was wanting to put the amg II rims but need a little pop! thought the red might be a nice accent color as my calipers are red and the tailights are red

 

I thought you wanted to paint those AMG rims silver and put a red stripe on the edge. If you have the rims in original silver, slap them on there and if you still feel a red line is necessary, go ahead, it's your car... but don't paint AMG black rims to silver, the red stripes are made for black rims, you know that.
If you want something different and really require a red circle on the edge of your rims, I'd say paint the silver lip on the black rims black and put a red stripe on that lip... black rims, red stripe.
In my opinion silver rims and red stripes don't go to good.
that's just my .02... but what do i know, can't say I've ever seen silver rims with red edges in my life...

 

well i like to be different! the black rims are cheapo aftermarkets that came with the car. the silver rims are the oem amg rims. i like the silver on black just looking for a little pop over the stock look
i wont do anything to the black rims. not worth the cost
