Here is a sample of the screen where you can record up to 3 data points. I picked (Blue=RPM) (Green=Boost) (Gray=Timing Advance). I wanted to see what the timing is doing on my runs. Although its only a pull through 1st to the end of 2nd gear you can see it does seem like it pulls about 3deg of timing at the top of 2nd? I would like to eventually hit the track up with this and run with and without my meth to see if there is a difference there.

Wow... that looks pretty cool. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the boost, the SC boost? Did this require an additional module? I am thinking about buying this for my IPod Touch. Thanks

Yes, it is the SC boost reading from the ECU. You can buy the kiwi-wifi with the ability to add the modules, but since I already have a wideband installed, I didn't feel it was needed on my car. Now, if I could only tune my own car!! ::sigh::

Seriously! If someone would make a module for the iPhone that you could tune your own car on, I'd pay for that. That would be awesome.

I got the one for the IPhone it works just has a hard time with the connection between the iphone and the obdII router but once it finds its connection it works just fine .. I'm unable to log data and send it to my computer but they are working on that and a few other upgrades but all in all its pretty nice I'm using the dash command software but going to download the other one they have for it also just to see if it might work better its been around longer but i believe it does not log data at all. When they complete the work on being able to run my A/f reader (and hopefully ill have a boost gauge from them as well) It will be perfect

Better yet, why not just control, monitor, datalog & clear codes with your iPhone?

You can get MAP (manifold absolute pressure) from OBDII port, but I thought he said he had hooked up his Zeitronix to the device that was plugged into the iPhone...?

Either way, you can get it. MAP is just boost plus 14.7.

Within the program, you can select "boost" from the list. I do not have any modules hooked up to it. I'm just reading from the OBDII port so I'm not really sure how I'm picking up the actual boost. I guess the program converts the MAP into boost??? No clue, but it does seem to be an accurate reading. Also, you CAN datalog using REV.

Yes, it seems that the reading is pretty much right on. I usually run around 17.5 lbs of boost in this weather so........

do some datalogging tests and let us know what you think. Now that someone has an alternative, we can do a proper comparison. congrats on the new toy

DATALOGS with my new DashDyno SPD and DynoScan Software (comes together when ordering gauge)

i run 91 octane and have headers, both which lower my boost (less aggressive tune b/c of the 91). i have not gotten a retune since my headers yet though (preheader numbers on dynodynamics = 350whp, 359 wtq). as noted in graph, max boost hit was 18.6 psi. not sure if the number is due to the gas and headers, or a boost leak as Rob of Needswings claims our gaskets leak above 14 or 15 (as many of you know and some have installed these gaskets). So I will be installing the high pressure gaskets to prevent a leak whether i have one or not.

I'm interested in what gaskets you plan to use. Please post a part number and supplier.
