Hola better half!!! Although i dont really know the first half too well lol....
I'm not sure all of whatcha do but i do have a very worthwhile idea that i would be thrilled to see done! One thing we have for our GSX that i would love to get for the SRT6, is a write up describing the car in a informational and concise way, as well as a "in your face" render (prob even two). And then put it in a nice plastic or w/e stand with a metal base for shows, or even just in a bold frame for a wall.

I would think the best style of background art would be a older style of paper look, with the title in a blueprint style font and subtitles in a fast/messy kind of writing (done by hand) with the rest of the write up in a bold hard print like copperplate gothic bold (hand or font if ya can find something fitting!). As well as a black border, and the car drawings in a sketched out grayscale blueprint style with a darker colors worked into the overall print, maybe even drawings.. as for the actual drawings, i would like to a see a front driver side fender/light up close going off the the side of the car (as if you were on the ground looking as the corner of the driver side... ) for the other one, i really like the style of what youve already drawn on the site! looks very good!.

Originally I was planning on doing this, and i still may if nobody else does, but ive been purty busy and im sure you can do 20x better than me!!!!

Not sure if this is something you would want to do, But If you do it, ill buy it! haha... Oh and i can get some pics of the write up/stand that we have for our Buick GSX if you would like.

I have a good one. How about a T-Shirt for those of us that are in the 11 second club. Since all did it with needswings intakes. I would love a shirt, I'm talking about a drawing showing the lights with the SRT6 staged at the line with 11 second club title on it. Maybe some smoke from the burnout, etc..

Hallo everybodee ( "Hi, Dr. Nick"... does anyone still watch the "Simpsons?")! LOL, JK... Hi there! WOW!!! Great responses, everyone!!! I didn't think anybody had replied until tonight, when Rob pointed it out (he's Needswings #1, FYI ). I absolutely love everyone's ideas... I've made a note of them and will start working on them soon. I spent today in the hospital, but I'll be OK and ready to draw in no time!!!

I've been working on new ideas for T~Shirts for a few weeks now. I like the "11 second club" idea. Thanks, cruzinquick! BTW, your post about the rendering that you now have was absolutely flattering. I appreciate ALL the unbelievably nice things you, and everyone else, had to say... Other than that, I'm so beyond~flattered, I'm speechless (and those who know me know that's next to impossible to achieve, LOL!!!)

Please keep the replies to this post coming!!! I'd rather make artwork that you'll all enjoy, rather than stuff that amuses ONLY me. Actually, the suggestions ARE pretty amusing, and will keep me busy for awhile. I'll post the finished products on www.needswings.com as I finish them! Keep an eye out for YOUR IDEA!!!

you have a lot of talent, i would like a srt6 t-shirt as well.

if you could offer drawings from photos of members cars i bet you would have a lot of interest. a guy does that on another site i frequent and he sells a lot.

 

Liz: I usually make favors for the Tail of the Dragon and now will probably make some for the Texas trip. I'm looking for some drawings that you would allow me to copy onto cardstock and then cover chocalate bars. Let me know if you have a couple that I could use.

I just received mine and I'm blown away. The pic you sent to me on my phone was very impressive but words can't describe how awesome it is in person. I'm getting it matted and framed but I have a trick up my sleeve and everyone will have to wait to see it until I get to the dragon.
