SRT-6 newbie
Well, I finally got me a crossfire.
I flew from Atlanta to Bloomington Illinois yesterday to pick up my SRT-6 that I purchase from a private seller. I live about 90 miles south of Atlanta. It is a black roadster with nav. in excellent condition with 22k miles. Well, it had 22k before I added 786 miles driving it back to Georgia last night and today. Just got home. My impressions so far..... WOW!!! this car has some serious get up and go. Corn fields along the interstate look different in a roadster with the top down doing 145. Just kidding..... a little..... hehe. The only thing that I found so far that annoys me about the car is the hard arm rest on the drivers door. I ended up folding up a t-shirt and using that to rest my elbow on. The first half of the trip, I used my TomTom that I brought with me. I decided to try the nav in the car for the second half. I was not really expecting to like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I actually like it better than I do the TomTom. When I decided to purchase this car, it was with the intent of keeping the miles low on it. I can tell already that it is going to be tough to stick with that plan. It is sooo much fun to drive. I am not sure that I want to tackle another 800 mile trip again anytime soon though. I will take some picks and post them as soon as I get it cleaned up. I murdered a few million bugs on the trip home.
Ohhh.... and I can tell already that one of my first mods is going to have to be ceramic breaks. I can't believe how dirty the wheels got since most of the trip was interstate driving with the exception of stops for food and gas. Ok, enough for now. I look forward to meeting some fellow members and participating in the forum. Cheers

You are way to close to the Tail of the Dragon get together Halloween weekend at Fontana Village, NC.
318 turns in 11 miles of perfect tarmac, a large variety of modded Crossfires, and, IMHO, a really great group of folks.
