04= Mazda3 speed (I can beat anyone in my wagon)

03= srt4 (no comment)

02= 350z (Look how rich I'am) little do most people know you can snag one of these up for less than $10,000 (this car is for most of those spikey hair douchbags that wear their sweat band up on the middle of there arm to go to a movie and eat popcorn and sip on a slurpy) A true douchebags

There are two number ones cause I just couldn't decide between the two of them...

01= Porsche 911 (straight up douchebags drive these cars and almost non of them really drive them, they just flaunt in them. Almost every porsche driver should have to register their car through the dmv and get custom plates at that time that say *****1 and so on....They always drive so damm slow, to make sure that every car that passes knows who's in it (a douchebag)

01= The holy grail of number is a car in my opinion driven my those middle age jackasses who think rice rockets and small european cars aren't worth their time...they can almost always be found staring at other drivers to make sure they are checking out his car. They take pride in flaunting the fact that they own the most expensive of Chevrolet cars. They feel so entitled to be cocky!!! this car is believed by douchebags to be the fastest car on the road....so what is number one you ask?

I agree with the Porsche guys....they drive so damn slow. I mean come on man your rear tires are bigger than both of mine put together. Hammer that thing it wont break!

Pontiac G8 owners definitely needs to be ranked pretty high too. There kill section on their boards are littered with kill stories that are unbelievable. And they are almost always "bone stock" G8's killing known 12sec cars.

 

LOL!!! I saw a old couple in a Smart car that were smug and Snug...He was atleast 290lbs and she was about 250lbs....go figure. The smug look my indeed be the result of the snuggish fit....LMAO!!

 

This is a douchebag post and I think that you are making a bad name for the SRT6 owners when you slam others for their choice of car.

To each his own and that is what makes our love for our cars that much more. So what if someone likes a mustang or a vette or whatever.

I love cars and have owned a variety, heck my motorcycle is a Honda which has been featured for its beauty in Vtwin mag with all the rest of them, so what am I a rice burner that hates harleys or BMW's of for that matter Triumphs? No I love em all and chose my honda for something that I could do a little to that was unique.

Dude lighten up and respect others for their choices. Trust me I have had to deal with the harley uppity types, but you can never label everyone as a douchebag for their choices...

 

I think he was asking for others opinions on thier perception of the typical drivers, and the attitude displayed by them, of these other cars. Not slamming them for the choice itself.

Tell me about it. My work beater is an 09 G8 (since they are now worthless scrap). I used to be on their forum, but got real tired, real fast when they claim they outrun everything. One a__hole was bragging about taking a 911....stock vs stock.

Pride in your ride is one thing.......all that G8 forum consists of is wishful thinking, delusion, and ignorance

This creates a label for the SRT6 crowd that already has a little perception of being uppity about their SRT6 heritage Not razzing guys but some of that perception or misperception is out there.

Either way what if the SRT6 was added to the douchebag list, the flames would be flying after all it is just a little supercharged 6 cyl engine with 330+ horses... Whoopie what’s so exciting about that.... See I am sure that as someone is reading that the tensions were already starting.

I know people that drive almost all those cars listed and most don’t even fit the mold (probably why I am friends with them) but the post at the end of the day builds and supports stereotypes which are the beginning of labels and ignorance.

In my opinion if you are a car guy or gal then you appreciate all automobiles; there is a little genius in them all even the Lada or the Yugo! Heck why haven’t any of us built one from the ground up? We couldn’t, well at least brag about it anyway...

 

While stereotyping is wrong, it's not hard to see where he's coming from. After you pass a couple of 911's that are going 5 under the speed limit, that gets stuck in your head. You forget about the 911 a couple of days ago that screamed past you on the interstate, only the slow ones you remember.

I hate ricers with a passion. I have met some people that drive them and they are straight up douchebags. However, I have met some that do it to be funny. A guy I knew had paint chipping off the car and was missing a couple of hubcaps, so to be funny he got a huge ricer spoiler for the back. Nice guy though. Messed up sense of humor, but you get the idea.

Vette drivers are definitely douchebags though.

 

I'm not saying all G8 owners and maybe not even most, but there's a extra ordinary amount of them that do fit the bill.

 

I think the point to take away from this is that it's just funny how people are passionate about their cars, whether it be a or a prius or a veyron.

Although I do have to admit, I get a kick out of the british guys on top gear when they make fun on BMW M owners, but we all have our stereotypes.

I think you are off base about the Mazdaspeed3. I think it's one of the less "ricey" fast sport compacts. Of course I'm bias because I traded my Speed3 in for my SRT6. They are quite fast- especially on the highway. I had one mess with me once and I had trouble pulling away.

Though of course you are talking about the drivers more so than the performance potential of the car. In this case I can't really comment I think I"ve seen less than five or six Speed3's on the road since they were released. None of them seemed to exhibit "douchebag" driving behavior.

I find the worst to be old civics/accords with primered body kits and loud foldger's can exhaust tips. That followed closely by hoodlum SRT-4 drivers letting you hear their BOV continuously as you drive down the street. Annoying....

 

I am sure that it is only because you are so diplomatic that you omitted the n/a Crossfire drivers from your group. I think you would describe them as SRT-6 wannabees.
Come on, tell us what you really feel, do not hold back, we can take it.

 

The kids that do this stuff make me smile. But I gotta think back to when we all were first customizing and tinkering and well it’s all about maturity and where you come from "Your experience". When you don’t have a lot of $ to play with the Folgers can is the easy way to go to think that you have some oomph in you ride, then it’s cheap spinner hubcaps that the kids try and many more crazy stuff that we look at and laugh. At some points you go in different paths because of your tastes. I can tell you the db9 owners are quite uppity but with the $$ you pay for a DB9 you likely are uppity. Now is that a douchebag car and would I be one if I owned one? No way, but I do like that car, it is a sweet ride but I just hate labels because it usually indicates that one is not comfortable enough with what he has and uses negative labels to make themselves feel more worthy or better than the one they are labeling.

One great example is my buddy who has had the Maserati, the 911, the Lambo Gallardo, the Honda S2000 and now the Skyline GTR. While at the same time also owns the GMC Yukon and the Audi s6 (another beast of a sedan). Do you know what one of his favorite cars is after owning all that hardware? The s2000, he just loves the revs of that little engine and how fun it is to drive. Now how could we even begin to label him? He is the international car man of mystery and just loves cars, and I am right there with him because I don’t care what type of vehicle it is Japanese, German, Italian, British, I love em all! Oh and enough about the ricer terms, that is so old now. What is meant by that really are we a bigoted forum as well?

Now if you don’t like a car fine, but people that drive cars whatever their reasons good or bad, there is just so much else in the equation that makes their choice of car more interesting than simply a douchebag choice.

I will bow out now; just sticking up for the douchebags cuz some of us on the forum own some of those cars

 

This stuff needs to go into one of the "off topic" sections, not under SRT6. It has nothing to do with our fine cars. I really have nothing against other cars -- like women, there's something for everyone, but I HATE....
- people who drive the speed limit or less in the passing lane and never move over
- driver's who don't use their turn signals
- tailgaters
- Prius drivers who blow by me going 10-15 mph over the speed limit on those rare times I drive the speed limit (hypocritical environmentalists!)
