Default Heat coming from the floor/under dash even with heat OFF

When I'm driving with my beach sandals I can feel heat coming from the floor/under the dash when driving hard- even when the heat isn't on or even set to come out at the floor. Is this normal?

I've heard of this in cars like the Dodge Viper but the Crossfire SRT6????

I would think it's normal. I have the same thing happen on mine.

I used header wrap on my exhaust in the mid section of the car. No more heat.

On my recent San Diego trip I thought that my right heel was going to have burn marks on it from the heat on the floor.
Didn't help that it was 100+ outside the whole trip.

I think it was on this forum that someone posted how they drove around one winter day and afterwards opened the hood and heated up the whole garage.

Nothing like running the AC when it's 50 degrees outside.

Mines the same way. Insane amount of heat come through the drivers side floor center console. I can even feel it come through the e-break area.
