Default Few question about my srt-6

When placed in park and the brake is depressed is the car supposed move a bit?? Everytime i do so and its on an incline it does this. Even if its no on an incline it does it. Maybe 2 inches or so. Also, any way to lower the srt-6 more than 1.2-1.5 inches? Im looking at the pro kit but im really looking to get 1.6-1.8ish. I rather not cut the springs. Is the pad system any good. Thanks

Mine does it. Most automatics do.

I can tell the car movement is normal....but don't have an answer for you on the springs if you aren't willing to cut the coil. I like the stiffer SRT6 springs, so if I ever decide to lower, which I doubt I ever will, I would go the cutting route...good luck with your mod...

I have Eibachs on my SRT-6. On the back you can get 1 1/2 inches of drop when combined with the shortest spring pad with no rubbing. On the front I used the tallest spring pad which lowered the front only 1/2 inch and have very slight rubbing. My tires are 4mm taller than stock and I have 10 mm spacers on the front so you need to consider that as well. As far as if I like the Eibachs ...... not for how I use my car. They make the car look great but the performance on the SRT-6 is inferior to the stock springs, at least with Koni shocks. So, if you want Eibachs for the looks I give them thumbs up. If you want them for better handling at the limit, thumbs down. For day to day situations they get a thumbs up from me as well. How you drive will make all the difference as to how much you like them or how much you wasted your mod money. IMO

Thanks Les. I am going to be lowering mine at some point in the near future and this is good info to me. I will probably cut the original springs down and install the koni's.

Ive read someting about taking off fuse 17 or 18 but theres no thread with an actual answer.... I rather spin a bit and remain in gear than spin a bit and short shift to second.
