hey guys i looked over the srt service manual but can't find wat i was looking for. i'm looking for the wiring diagram for the ecu. i need to install o2 simulators but don't want to tap right next to the o2 senor under the car near the exhuast. i wanted to tap into them under the hood. i looked thru the service manual but can only find the wire diagram for the 02 sensor itself. please help. also what is the difference when the say upstream and downstream for the 02 sensors. i need to tap into the rear o2 sensors between the 2 cats (or the ones closest to the muffler) thanks.

wat does it mean when it says upstream and downstream?? also that show's the wire diagram of the o2 sensor itself i was looking for the wire diagram for the ecu. i want to tap into the o2 sensor wires but not from underneath the car but from under the hood near the ecu. thanks for the fast response back.

 

upstream (before) and downstream (after) of the cat.. I have the ecu pinout page number on a postit at home.. Use the search function on the pdf reader, search for ecu pinout.

Pages 1524 to ~1530 in the .pdf file shows all the PCM connectors, with every pin numbered with a description, color of wire and gauge of wire. That's why nothing came up, its a powertrain control module, not an ecu .

 

Page 8W-30-6 shows the connections of the upstream O2 sensors at the PCM.
C3 pins 6, 7 & 23 and C2 pins 15 & 24.


And page 8W-30-8 shows the connection of the downstream O2 sensors.
C4 pins 5, 15 & 16 and C5 pins 1 & 4.

Not to be snide. But if you cant read the schematics, please dont do any mods to your wiring.... you could mess up you car badly.
